There were multiple life guards throughout the facility and they were all attentive and extremely friendly. We went when they opened right at 1 pm on a Sunday and we barely got a pool chair to put our towels on. It gets packed fast. You can't bring inside drinks in- there's food trucks for drinks and snow cones but we didn't need it. They do search your bags for outside food/drinks. Everyone in the park was super friendly and low key. We felt safe and it was most definitely a family place. Next time we're in Burkburnett we will definitely come back! Wifey tip: They do ask you what your zip code is be 'non-residents of Burkburnett' are charged more. We gave them a local Burkburnett zip code but we're still charged the out of town price for whatever reason ‍

Today, 2 lifeguards on the pool. No one on the kiddy area. Not a huge issue, except older kids sometimes take over the kiddy area and you have to stay right on top of your little ones to keep them from being knocked down. The staff is not very helpful. They won't even make change for the vending machines. The machines should take cards, but they don't. Bring food and drink if they allow it. I'm not sure if they do. Finally, I saw kids getting in trouble for jumping off the side sometimes other times not. Had them ask me if I had a swimsuit last time. Told me I HAD TO. HAVE a swimsuit to get in the pool. Saw some people 4 today that were swimming in street clothes. One woman had on pants. Another in yoga pants. Different lifeguards allow different things. Rules seemed to be unevenly applied.

There's an area for diving off the diving board, an area for a smaller children, lazy river for all ages and a water slide. That looks really interesting. I didn't go on that one but yeah, it's really nice. Lots of grassy area so if you wanna picnic out there, while enjoying the water. There's lounging chairs that go pretty quickly as well as the tubes for the lazy river. The lifeguards are very nice very well trained, constantly looking, constantly watching everyone to make sure no one is in distress. And yes, there are a lot of lifeguards which is really great considering how many people are there. There are rules to to the aquatic center too many for me to mention here, but if you want to check it out, go to their website. When I checked on the website, for the past couple days, it said it was closed, but the best thing to do is call to make sure it is open. Even the day I went the website online said it was closed. Before you reach the aquatic center you wind your way through the park that is very beautiful and very clean.
