After finding Dr. Steele, I know I can be comfortable with her caring, kind, expert care. She is very thorough and asks all important health questions. She is, by far, the best physician I've had in my 80-plus years. (It's also great that there is no parking garage involved. There is free on-site parking without a long walk and parking validation).

I had a gram negative bacterial infection and it took him months to culture it and then didn't do a full culture. I was on antibiotics for over 6 months. It took Dr Chao over 3 months to finally run the correct testing. Had he reacted sooner and gave me the proper treatment I could have had my reconstruction done, I look so awful and feel worse. Before cancer I was a triple D. Now I don't know if any constructive surgery can even be done because there's not a single doctor that wants to touch the mess this creep made. The fact I still think of Dr. Alexander from time to time on my medical journey, speaks volumes about her ego and inept ability to fairly treat patients. I went to see Dr. Alexander (my PCP at the time) due to continued and relentless stomach issues, GERD, and other aches and pains and herniated discs a 20 year old shouldn't have. When Dr. Alexander was asking me for my symptoms and I was explaining them, somehow my mom's Lupus came up in the conversation - it wasn't in relation to my trying to say I thought I had lupus or anything of the sort. It had something to do with familial history and diseases she had asked about. As soon as I mentioned my mom has Lupus, she IMMEDIATELY snapped "Oh, you definitely don't have Lupus". I didn't insinuate I did, it actually didn't really cross my mind. But what did cross my mind was her immediate vehemence and automatic need to shut down the notion. I found that odd and off putting. So odd and off putting I still remember it 20 years later. Plot of this little story is I DO have Lupus and all of the other autoimmune diseases my mom has. It's very difficult to receive treatment or find Doctors worth a damn or who understand autoimmune diseases as complex and cruel as Lupus , but her shutting it down right away, without taking 2 moments to critically think and say hey, "Better safe than sorry. It won't hurt for us to run some labs", she could have prevented a lot of the pain and suffering I endured over the following 5 years, including the hospitalization for a colon that was pouring blood. This review is for the off chance Dr. Alexander ever looks up her name to see if there are reviews of her care online. Dr. Alexander... do better. Burn the ego and check it at the door, because your patients deserve better.

We chose Dr. Wendy Dengerin at Perlman Clinic because she was near our house and we're so glad we did! The clinic was great an all staff were very friendly. And Dr. Dengerink was very personable, while at the same time VERY THOROUGH in reviewing my history, medications, and my needs for the future including resumption of various specialists. I felt valued, listened to, and confident in having my medical needs met going foward. Continued visits have only confirmed how Perlman and Dr. Dengerink was a right choice!

Chelsea is very well versed in medicine, and I have total confidence in her when we have an appointment. She also offers appointments via telephone or online, which can be very convenient indeed. Doctore Shabaz is very good on referring you to tests that will be important to your health. There are also labs and X-ray offices right next door, which is great! I had an appointment scheduled for 8:30 AM and was not seen until around 11:00-11:30 AM. That's nearly a three-hour wait in the waiting room, followed by additional waiting time inside the exam room for the doctor. Completely unacceptable, especially for a primary care office where scheduling should be managed properly. It was very clear this is a systemic issue. While I was waiting, multiple patients were complaining about the same thing. This is not a one-time situation, this is how the office operates. The lack of organization didn't stop there. After my visit around June or July, it took about a month just for the referral to be sent to my insurance, which didn't receive it until August. Because of that delay, my authorization eventually expired. Now months later, as of March 31, I called to request a new authorization. They took my information and said they would call me back, but they never did. I understand systems can go down, but there is no follow-up, no accountability, and no sense of urgency. The front desk and administrative staff are extremely inefficient, unresponsive, and disorganized. For a team this small, there is no excuse for this level of poor service. Again, the doctor herself was not the problem, but the team completely undermines the entire experience and patient care process. I would strongly advise others to avoid this office unless they are prepared to deal with excessive wait times, delayed referrals, and no follow-up. This office needs serious management intervention.
