There were 5 students there so we got seen right away (walk-in). My son received an excellent short / fade style hair cut for way less than our previous barber ($30). The haircut can take 1.5 hours because the student is learning. It seems like a great Barber school too, students seemed happy and very eager to perfect their skills. By the way, If you don't want a student haircut they have 3 licensed barbers that work there and take clients ($27 for a cut), and you need to make an appointment for the licensed barbers online under the business name "Christopher's Barber Shop." I watched Christopher cut 3 people's hair while we waited and he was a quick, excellent and friendly barber.

On both occasions, I found the people I interacted with to be extremely nice and helpful! The facilities (practice rooms) were nice and I had no problem on either occasion finding an open place to practice. The lesson was fantastic, and I give my compliments to the school of music for employing such a competent and wonderful staff. It seems like a smaller program, but I think that lends itself nicely to a tightly knit community. The only thing I have a hard time with is the weather in Tucson. I'm not from the area, and I'm not sure how I would fair in heat-spells. Even in moderately hot wether, I find it hard to practice. The facilities are air conditioned, but it's still hot when you leave the building. That said, I could happily recommend checking out the Fox School Of Music based on my pleasant experience. I plan to come back for another lesson when I'm in town.

There is a note about the driving school hours are on the door but there is no indication of the hours for their other services. The other people waiting did not think to call and check the hours and when I did the message stated they were only open Monday-Friday, 9-5. It may seem like a little thing but the only reason many people would go there is BECAUSE they can't get to the MVD Monday-Friday due to work. I typically don't leave negative reviews and this may seem like a little thing but some of the people waiting were disabled or elderly and sometimes either of those things makes it hard for them to get to the places they need to go. The issue could be easily resolved- if they aren't open AT ALL Saturday then put a note on the door saying so. They were giving driving lessons as there was a person in a car waiting for an instructor.

Founder and mother Jeanette began this organization when he son unexpectedly passed before 3 and she saw how much kindness could make a difference in another's life.
