Skechers are comfy shoes, with squishy "memory foam" insoles, and bouncy rubber soles. This store has a good selection of shoe styles and colours to choose from - even a section of wide width sizes. My daughter and I stopped by because she needed good walking shoes for an upcoming trip. The evening we visited, "Andrew" was particularly helpful. She wasn't sure of the fit, so he measured her feet and patiently explained the difference between some of the styles she was looking at. He also cheerfully re-boxed the many pairs of shoes we had pulled from the wall and piled on the floor. My daughter and I both like Skechers shoes. They are comfortable and stylish. She chose a couple of pairs (there was a sale).

I was looking for some new sport and walking shoes in the London area and was unable to find any…read morewhich made me happy. I have a difficult shoe size which is generally available in white or black sport shoes or fastened with velcro strips. I wondered if this store in Cambridge would have any suitable footwear for me. YES, they did. This is a family business and one of the few which carries a wide variety of styles, all competitively priced and in a wide size and width range. The time is taken to ensure a proper fit and pleasing style. I was there for at least an hour and a half on an early Sunday afternoon. They have a wall of high quality clearance footwear of at VERY GOOD prices. They had a variety of top quality sandals and purchased a pair which fit me correctly. I had not ever been able to find suitable sandals before this in any other shoe store. My journey from London Ontario was supported by Google maps and worthwhile. Anyone looking for footwear is advised to try this place and you will not be disappointed.

We host international students. We currently have one from Spain. He is a very avid runner and needed new shoes so we took him to Closeout Shoes believing that he would receive the same kind of quality service and customer care that we had come to expect. Unfortunately, he made a purchase that he came to regret when I urged him to wear the shoes around the house for a while. He was experiencing buyer's remorse. I assured him that any "reputable" shoe retailer would take back the shoes with a refund since they were not used outside the house. Apparently, I was wrong with regard to Closeout Shoes. You see they have signs in the store that say "ALL SALES FINAL" that neither of us noticed. When the purchase was made we were not given any VERBAL warning about their unusual store policy. In all my years of dealing with this retailer, I have never noticed these signs before. The owner refused to offer a refund of in spite my family's years of loyal patronage. My takeaway from this is that in her mind, enforcement of store policy is far more important than customer care. caveat emptor!

I've been shopping at the Factory Shoe Outlet for several years now, and have figured out that it's…read moreone of those places you have to just check every now and then. Sometimes I find exactly what I want; other times, I can't find anything suitable. Despite the name of the store, the prices here aren't what you'd think of as "outlet low". They're pretty much similar to local shoe stores. But if you check the local newspaper, you'll probably see coupons for $5 or $10 off, and they sometimes have sales ("buy one get the second pair for half off"). Personally, I go for the Birkenstocks. The store carries a decent range of Birks, though the sizes are often hit-and-miss. The Factory Shoe Outlet's strength is in the selection - it's nice to have such a variety of popular brands and styles all in one location. And the staff is quite helpful. Though I may not always find what I'm looking for, often while I look for one particular item, I'll find another new brand to try. Finally, it's just fun to browse the aisles, so I'll likely continue to check the Factory Shoe Outlet regularly in hopes of finding a great Birkenstock on sale.

The location had some seasonal options, though I find it lacks the cocktail dress selection some mall location have. I do prefer Guess because they have the Asian petite fit for cocktail dresses-the north American Small rarely fit and I have to squeeze into an XXS which can be hit and miss. I bought 2020 some really awesome wedges, the clearance for footwear is abundant but style selection limited. So it's a hit and miss for me. As of late this store seems to be overrun with infant clothing so if you're looking for something it might be here if you're a size "baby".

I actually picked up a pair of Nike air for female fit because it was raved to be light weight and comfortable and it took impact load well. Just all around comfy walking shoes because I'm a regular runner and apparently the heel absorbed impact. I would say the shoes is enough of an up sale but it is light. There is no way shoes can absorb load that well, it's the foam structure and the hallow construct allows it. But true beliebers say it's a shock absorber, so keep on beliebing peeps. The selection is alright it's like any other outlet store. But it also shows you probably dont need to go to premium outlet mall for the deals, there are places with less line up and better parking.
