I made a last-minute appointment to get a full volume set, and was impressed with the professionalism of Kit. I had mentioned in my appointment notes that I was driving in straight from work and wouldn't have time to remove my makeup, and asked if that could be done when I arrived. It appeared that she had done so before starting the application of the lashes, but commented that some of the lashes weren't sticking (she did spent a significant amount of time on them). When she finally finished, she didn't sound too confident that they were going to hold, and said I should let her know if there were any issues and she'd fix them. Within 30 minutes of leaving her salon, 4 - 5 lashes literally popped off my eyes. By the time I got home 20 minutes later, 1/3 of the lashes had come off. I saved them to bring in and show her (she offered to have me come to her salon the next evening). As I was waiting outside of the building she's in (there's very limited parking, and she didn't offer to buzz me in and wait in the lobby - it was around 6:15pm), a crazed man drove up in a van and made lude and very disturbing comments toward me, and was about to get out of his van and approach me when another driver saw this and drove up behind him. I was calling her to ask her to let me in the building but she had come down at that time. When we stepped into her salon, she did agree that I'd lost a lot of lashes, and started to fill in the gaps. When she finished (they looked better than the night before) I was getting ready to leave, and thanked her for fixing my lashes, but she told me I needed to pay for a fill (I've never had my lashes done where, if they fell off within 12 - 24 hrs I was charged to have them fixed). I reluctantly paid, and left. I didn't want to upset her, because she was being very nice to me. Unfortunately, I had the same issue within 24 hrs. Lashes were popping off my eye. I texted her and told her how frustrated I was, and disappointed. She asked me to come in and she fix them for free this time (that should have been offered the first time). I told her I wasn't able to get to her salon and that as they were coming off on their own, I asked if she'd consider giving me a partial refund (for the folks). I suggested she keep the payments fir the full set & the 2 tips I gave her. She responded back saying she was only going to refund me $23 dollars, and that was fair (I spent, in 2 days, nearly $250 for lashes that didn't stay on!). With everything else that I had to deal with being left in an unsafe situation, spending 5+ hrs having lashes added that didn't stay on, I thought asking for a$50 refund was more than fair. I should be getting a full refund for a product that didn't work! I've attached photos that show the lashes less than 1 week after application. I'm so upset that they didn't even last 1 week, and that Kit is basically charging me for a service & product that I didn't even have. I'll be going to a salon that will actually be able to provide me with the service I'm paying for. Sadly, Kit doesn't guarantee her work, and she'll just take your money and not think twice.

A few years ago, I flew to NYC to have my eyebrows done because they sit on my face and I wanted…read morethe best of the best. It was a disaster. The healing experience was not pleasant. I had gigantic scabs and was left with two purple lines that faded to pink. After a year had passed, I went to see a microblader in Franklin who refused to cover up my brows. She said that they would first have to be lasered off, which comes with its own challenges. The plastic surgeon I saw said that there is no way to confirm the ingredients of the ink and warned that lasering my eyebrows might make them darker. He also mentioned a small risk of scarring. I decided that the risk wasn't worth it. I chose to live with pink brows ... until I found Olivia. Olivia Weir showcases her work on Instagram (oliviaweirsthings), and she is phenomenal. I've since talked to a surgeon and two facialists who have both confirmed that Olivia is one of two people in town they would recommend for microblading. She took one look at my jagged, pink brows and started working away like it was nothing. The process wasn't painful at all, which was so unlike my first experience in NYC. There is also no waiting around for numbing, she numbs as she goes. As far as healing, it was night and day from my first experience which was micropigmentation (using a tattoo gun) where microblading uses a blade. This alone made the process better (less scabbing), but Olivia also suggests a semi-wet healing process which is so much better than dry (what I did before). I was able to shower and wash my face and workout. It was heaven!!! In the end, I love my new brows so much. The first picture on the left is right after my first session, the second picture is healed, and the third is healed after my touch up. As I started with no eyebrows and we are covering up pink, I plan to go back for a third touch up as they are a little sparse in the middle, but I think most people will be able to get away with two sessions which is what is included in the initial fee. In general, the shape is great, the color is perfect, and there are hair strokes. They look so natural. I highly highly highly recommend Olivia. One final thought: When Olivia microblades, it is a very fast process. There isn't much of a consult which made me nervous. I stopped her after she had started and mentioned a couple of things that were important to me. She nodded her head and kept working. I thought for sure that she was ignoring me, but she totally took my input into consideration and did exactly what I had asked. Olivia has her own style and she sticks to that, but if there is something that is important to you, don't hesitate to mention it to her. It is your face after all!
