They have an awesome relaxation area. I went for my appt, they brought me to changing area and then off I went to the relaxation area prior to my facial. When it was my appt time, a woman popped her head in and called my name. I was brought to a private, dark and quiet hallway so already I was impressed. They had warm tables and pillows for under your knees for comfort. The facial was amazing and she also did my hands and put them in warming gloves and then did my feet too. This is all just part of the facial. After my appt I was brought back to the relaxation room where I was offered champagne and other options but it was my bday so I went for the champagne. I probably stayed in the room for 40 minutes. The woman who worked in the relaxation room and other areas was so nice I ended up tipping her as well as my facialist. I will definitely go back and try to get a later appt vs 9am so I can go to Brownwood for a nice lunch!!

In 2021, I received a chemical peel at this med spa that resulted in a SEVERE chemical burn to my back. The peel was performed by a front desk receptionist who was "in training," not a licensed or certified aesthetic provider. I later learned this occurred because no qualified provider was available at the time, and rather than rescheduling the service, the treatment was performed anyway. I was not informed that the individual performing the treatment was unlicensed, nor was appropriate supervision or medical oversight provided. The result was significant skin injury--second degree burns, as shown in photos taken during my visit at the BURN UNIT. This was not a post-chemical peel reaction -- it was a chemical burn. At the time, I did not fully understand the seriousness of what had occurred. As a nurse working in the field of aesthetics today, I now clearly recognize this as negligence and a breakdown in management, supervision, and patient safety standards. To this day, I'm still baffled by how this was handled afterwards. Beyond the physical injury, the lack of accountability and concern from management/owner during my recovery was deeply upsetting and added to the emotional toll of an already traumatic experience.
