It only took her less than an hour to apply my extensions. She was so gentle that I got to catch up on some sleep as she was applying them. After it was done, I did not feel a sting or pain in my eyes which I experienced from other salons. The last time I got lashes done somewhere else, I walked out of the salon with red and stinging eyes. Also she gave me a free eyelash comb and useful advice about taking care of my new lashes that I've never been told before. The extensions look and feel amazing. They feel light and not in the way of my eye sight. . I would definitely go back to her if I don't find any one just as good & closer to home. It has been a little over a week since she put them on and they look exactly the same as when I had them on day 1. So far, so good!

They placed a protective conditioning serum after my eyelash tint/perm. My eyes look amazing. They listen to you and are pampered. This place is a fantastic gem. I know I have people who know what they are actually doing. I am always happy with these results. I cannot recommend them enough. Also their Wynard branch is awesome as well. Staff are rotated between these two businesses.

The staff is friendly, the facilities clean and surroundings quite relaxing. I had a relaxation massage that started out with a floral, herb, sea salt, foot bath. I have never had anything like this before and really enjoyed it. My masseuse was professional and did a great job, I felt so relaxed I fell asleep during my massage. My service also came with a manicure which was OK- it was more of a polish change. I think it was difficult for her bc she didn't have acetone to remove the gel polish. But all in all, I definitely would return here for any of their spa treatments. I would love to try a facial here. Good for the environment, good for the skin. Their treatment rooms in Crows Nest are lovely - they have a rest room to chill in before and after your treatment complete with hot tea and a gorgeous tree painting, waxing rooms and a partner room (complete with spa so you can both enjoy a bit of luxury together). Treatments aren't cheap with a 2 hour body massage and exfoliation costing $200 and a 1 hour 15 minute facial costing $135. But they do use organic products so you know you're getting the chemical free beauty therapy our skin loves. I was a little annoyed that when I arrived one morning at 9.30 to buy a gift voucher the girl working there came around the corner and up the stairs to tell me they don't open until 9.45am. I understand that processes have their place but 15 minutes... sometimes a little flexibility is that extra mile service customers look for.

The welcome at the salon is always friendly and professional. You're given a refreshing and relaxing Aveda herbal tea while you wait for your hairdresser. You will always been consulted by your hairdresser before they begin and these guys really take the time to listen but also have a point of view (I always like a professional opinion). Before your hair is washed a 'ritual' is performed where you get a scalp and neck massage with a beautiful oil. The only thing you should be warned about is that Luc Espace is a training salon which means that while your hairdresser will always do the cut, you will have somebody different wash your hair, or dry it. Mostly I have had good experiences but it can be frustrating at times. That said, I respect that they foster young talent so I keep going back. I recommend seeing Jordana for cut and Julia for colour.

The stylists there always consult with you to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want, my hair always looks stylish whilst still suiting me. A cut and style - for me, usually blow dry and straighten - takes around an hour with long hair. Basically, the only place on this earth that I would allow to put something sharp near my hair. Be aware that they do take appointments for children, but only after school and not on the weekends. But the staff are great with the children that come through :)

Great service, great stylists, great prices!…read more For many years now I have had the gift of fertility.......every time i find a great hairdresser they get pregnant and stop working to raise their kids. Although this had ended happily for many a maternal hairdresser, it has not bode well for my hair. A couple weeks back, yet again in search of a new hairdresser I happened along Hair Esteem, and decided to try my luck with another local mob. As soon as i arrived i knew that the salon must have something going for it, as it was huge yet full to overflowing with clients and staff. I was greeted by the woman who turned out to be my hairdresser, and funnily enough she was heavily pregnant, so i sat down with utter confidence that she would do a great job, and i wasn't disappointed. Not only did she ask me to show her what I meant by the colours i was naming, she went on to talk with me about how strategically placing contrast and complimentary colours in the under layers of your hair effects the overall appearance. An educated and articulate stylist who delivered exactly what she promised and then some! After being pampered with coffees and an awesome head massage during my visit, i got to walk away with Salon Perfect hair that was exactly as i had imagined it. Two weeks on the colour still looks great so i am really happy with it. Best of all, turns out the hairdresser i had owns the business so she wont be leaving it any time soon! I cant vouch for the other hairdressers, but if they are even half as good as the hairdresser i had then i would rate them good value for money. I will certainly be going back to Esteem!

I was 10 minutes late to the appointment, I apologized and said not to worry about my blow dry to make up for the time. She roughly shampooed and cut my hair, didn't bother making sure the front and back are even, so now I will be looking to get it fixed by a different salon despite paying $85 for a simple cut. She couldn't even be bothered showing me the back length, just took the towel off and walked away once she was done. The only positive was that she quickly dried off my hair when I asked instead of towel drying it, which tbh is pretty basic to do. The 'senior stylist' just seem to be annoyed the whole time I was there, like I had interrupted her day by making an appointment, there is little to no customer service. If you're looking for a new salon to try, I would avoid this place as it is completely overpriced, terrible at customer service, doesn't seem like the hairdressers have good experience and they clearly do not want new customers.
