We had our cake and desserts for our wedding this past weekend from Fabulous Fare & everything was delicious and so pleasing to the eye. The little details mean so much to me and everything was being expectations. Our wedding cake was a 3 tiered naked cake with almond cake, almond icing, and brown sugar cream filling. It was *chef's kiss.* I even ate some for breakfast the next few days. We also ordered a dessert bar. There was nothing left at the end of the night, so I knew it was all a hit. We used Jaclyn to make our wedding cakes. I wanted something simple and she made it look beautiful. My husband got a Kyle Field cake (2D version) and she put much detail into it to make it look just like the real field. Jaclyn worked with our limited budget to help us feed 250 people at our wedding. We decided to do a smaller cake with extra sheet cakes which allowed us to pick multiple flavors of cake. She gave us some cupcakes of the flavors we wanted to try with different fillings and icings. We were able to taste at home and not feel pressured to make a decision immediately. We chose strawberry, lemon, italian creme, and chocolate mint all with buttercream frosting. We just celebrated our First Anniversary and thanks to the amazing wrapping skills of my mom, our cake was just as delicious the second time.
