DO NOT RECOMMEND!! poor service completely wrong style , they do NOT know what they are doing.

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience here. I was quoted a price over the phone, but when I arrived, the stylist changed the amount without discussing it with me first. She charged extra for washing my son's hair without asking for permission or explaining it beforehand. She also did my hair without asking whether I wanted my edges left out. When I politely asked her to redo the front because I didn't want my edges snatched up, she refused and got loud and aggressive. At one point, she even raised her voice and threatened to call the police over a $15 disagreement. That moment confirmed everything I was feeling from the minute I walked in: the energy was nasty, dismissive, and uncomfortable. I don't recommend this salon to anyone who expects respectful communication and clear pricing. I left feeling disrespected and unheard, and I won't be back. read more

First I would like to say, the look of the braids, however she braided my hair entirely too tight. There is no reason for that much tension to be put on my hair. Another thing, they speak a mixture of French and some African language. They hardly ever speak to the customer at all. Also I got a bad vibe when my walked in one of the young ladies just stared at me for a while. The other reason I'm giving 1 star is because my appointment (perimeter retouch 3 rows in the front and 2 rows sides and back) was scheduled for 0900. I got there at 0845 and the door was still locked at my appointment time. There were a lot of people at there waiting as well. Finally by 0918 someone arrived and opened the door. We all go in and get directed to our respective stations except me. I sat down and waited until 1018 before she arrived and started the takedown process since you are told not to take down the braids prior to appointment. She finished about 1100 with the takedown and didn't start putting the braids in until close to 1130. The whole time she is pulling and tugging on my head. My hair is extremely soft and not the thickest head of hair so think about it you ain't gotta do me like that. With all the breaks she took to include dealing with water getting into the shop due to rain and taking phone calls and eating, I was so aggravated. I spent a total of 5.5 hours for a touch up. People with full heads were leaving before me. Idk if she is the manager but no one else stopped as much as her not were they on the phone like her. I do not recommend this place especially not the lady whose station is to the left as you walk is. read more

My hair was pretty, but they were braiding with their mouths. Highly unsanitary. They don't really talk to you at all. Too rough on hair, and when I tried to pay with card there was extra unnecessary fees. I also paid my $10 deposit that apparently didn't go towards anything. I will never come back and I don't suggest you go! I was supposed to pay $100 dollars and paid 115 total. You can definitely get better professionalism somewhere else! 1/10 wouldn't recommend read more

I wish I could post pics so y'all could see what I'm talking about but I don't have any social media but I think I might create one just for them. I asked for microbraids. I told them do not braid my hair tight. The owner braided the majority of my hair and then tapped out. I did not see the back of the braids before I left; next day I did. My hair was not braided all the way down so the ends of my hair is sticking out, plus she burned the fly aways ...but it's human hair , loose at the end...so why burn ? Which means my hair was out so they burned my hair. The owner told me that's what everyone knows that they burn hair and if I wanted my hair braided all the way it would have been an extra 30 dollars. I told her that no one told me that and that she should not assume that people know the braid rules because neither are posted online when you book the appt nor anywhere in her shop. I have never been to her shop before and I will never go back. She has ZERO integrity. The proper way to handle this wouid have been to offer to. Russ the hair all the way down or heck just even ask how it can be rectified...so disappointing that read more

Their ending results are very good, but if you practicing healthy hair, I would not recommend them. They are too harsh on hair, never wash your hair, and the rudeness is beyond compare. They spoke in their native language the whole time among themselves, which made me feel so uncomfortable. If a person paying no less than 180.00 for their hair deserves more respect for their hair than what was given. Even though the ending results was good, I care more about my real hair, so I just can't make myself go back. read more

Binta did my hair and she was both patient and kind. She listened to what I wanted and gave me just that! I called earlier that morning to ask about their services and her sister was very professional and polite on the phone when answering my questions. I will be a repeat customer. MERCI BEAUCOUP! read more
