Shout out to Drew S. also for accommodating my weird schedule availability. I love that this particular location has lockers, which the Sonoma one doesn't have (in Sonoma, I have to lock my purse in the trunk of my car before coming in, to feel safe). The gym is very clean, decent variety of equipment, rates are as reasonable as they can be in this current economy, and it's open 24/7. I also really appreciate the TRX suspension trainer, which I mix in with free weight training, and lots of workout accessories like various bands, weight balls, rollers, etc. They also offer several optional extra services. But if you want just a good place to go in, get your workout in, and leave, this is the place! My only wish is that the "home gym" rates that you sign up for wouldn't change when you use a different AF location for a period of time. The rates are better at Petaluma, but Sonoma is much closer to me. If I use the Sonoma location more often than Petaluma, my rates will automatically increase to theirs. Don't love that.... Otherwise, I'm a happy customer.

Secondly the aqua fit class is at 9 everyday so if ur a mom like me , hoping to swim laps after you drop kids off at school- good luck- doesn't happen. I'm sure this is written In something I signed but wished it was directly addressed as it's a huge chunk of time to be closed. So I got here at 12:05, and here we are can't work out for 4 hours... living 20 mins from this gym doesn't help.

In November 2024 I called and asked him to cancel my membership due to health issues. He said that he couldn't help me and kept charging me every month until it's expiration in March 2024. Sadly, he gave me no choice but to ride out the term of the membership even though I was unable to attend the gym! In March 2024 conner told me the membership would expire on its own. I trusted him! Connor did not cancel my membership as he said he would! Instead, the membership went up $50, without my permission or my knowledge! Six months went by when I discovered that he had been charging me without my permission. Even after I told him that I was diagnosed with cancer, he did not care and refused to reimburse any of the money taken out of my account since March 2024!! After being diagnosed with cancer, Connor Waggoner kept charging me. I went to the gym, pleading with him in person. He told me that he would NOT refund any money or even partially reimburse me. He admitted that he remembers the conversation we had last November and remembers me wanting to cancel. Do not join Luma Fitness and beware of the owner Connor Waggoner ! This man is dishonest, greedy and has no problem taking money from a single mom with cancer !

DATE: 7-1-2026 Update So what happened to the morning…read morecleaning woman??!! That lasted two weeks???!! She was better than any cleaning person and the vast majority of employees working at this gym; bar none. The afternoon cleaning lady holds no comparison! That one has little to no personality, always seems kind of bitchy and unfriendly to members, as if she really doesn't want to be there. You can almost tell she is a "whiner" :-l I am SOOO glad I didn't give this place any more than three stars. Exactly as I expected, and have experienced in the past, another FALSE START! I notice already things are getting funky again. Six bags of trash sitting outside most mornings. The area upstairs, where the employee lounge is located, is dirty and needs to be vacuumed. The emergency door upstairs was propped open with a weight this morning. Bathroom and locker room get a grade "C". Male morning employees are milling around in the back room instead of being at the front desk. The equipment is great. I would have preferred a few more sit down bikes and less Stairmasters that don't really fit the space. No sit down ab crunch machine, which I miss. The sit-up machines are made for men, I couldn't even lift the current model, and only two machines???? Nuts. I do love a couple of the machines in the spin room. I'm waiting for the first stint of hot weather. The air conditioner is two fans and its going to roast up there with no window tinting.

The one class I attend continues to be cancelled due to lack of instructors. The club management increased the membership fees without written notice of the amount and also charged an equipment enhancement fee. The equipment is sorely lacking and the gym has steadily declined. Do not join this club unless you are aware of all the extra charges and lack of classes that you might be able to attend. I have decided to cancel my membership and look for other options.

First of all, the gym is filthy. Want spiderwebs on your hands when using cable machines? Sonoma Fit is your place! Also, the gym became HORRIBLE about maintenance. One bathroom stall was out of order for 4 months in the Women's restroom. Half the lockers are broken as well. Once, a locker broke while my jacket was in it. Since it was after hours, there was no front desk staff to help me get my jacket out. I had to go home in 40 degree weather WHILE IT WAS RAINING, and come back to get my jacket the next day. Last March, my membership fee nearly doubled out of nowhere. I never received any communication about it. I tried to ask the front desk staff what was going on and they had no idea. I left my number with the front desk so the owners could call me back. They never did. I finally went back in and spoke to a manager, Polo. He was very nice and once again took my number so the owners could call me back. Guess who never called me back? The owners! My husband and I tried calling the gym several times, but could never get in touch with the owners. We even tried calling other locations. We spoke to Polo 2 more times, and the owners still never bothered to get back to us. In addition to nearly doubling our membership fees, the gym also randomly charged us another annual fee despite us having already paid our annual fee 5 months prior. It's obvious upon reading reviews for this location and other locations that the owners are completely delusional. Almost every review is one star, and the owners regularly argue with reviewers on here in a completely combative manner. It's ridiculous that they get away with doing business like this. They can't even be bothered to pretend to care about providing any decent level of service to their customers. I canceled my membership and joined a gym that actually cares. Good riddance!
