The Peak 500 Challenge they held last week pushed me in the best way--definitely tough, but so rewarding. And the recent boat party was such a highlight--an amazing way to connect with everyone outside the studio and just party together. I love this location so much since the second I tried it. I was never one to do workout classes but the vibes in this location are truly the best. I've tried the Santa Barbara location and the Rancho Cucamonga location and neither compares to Goleta. There is plenty of space which I greatly appreciate and I love each and every trainer here. I genuinely believe they care about me and my goals. They're always encouraging me especially when I'm dying. I received a free week of training from a local race. Samantha was very professional (and patient) in reaching out to invite me to the gym, welcoming me in each day and following up. The first day I went was a Saturday and there was a really fun DJ that motivated us during the class. Also, there was coffee provided afterwards. The instructors clearly describe the workout and demonstrate the moves before we get started. They also come around to give form advice during the workout. it's a very positive, friendly and encouraging environment, not intimidating as lots of different types of people are there working out. The instructors give positive reinforcement intermittently. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find classes that fit my schedule, and, conveniently, there is a shower so I could go straight to work. These workouts were whole body strengthening workouts, and we were in and out within 50 minutes. At the end of the workouts, the instructors had a couple of announcements about upcoming workout challenges and social gatherings. I would definitely recommend going to F45 to get great workouts and joining a supportive community! read more

I am someone who used to play competitive high school and collegiate sports, but began struggling with a consistent fitness routine after losing the structure of a team. I came to F45 in hopes of building a gym community that would have me excited to come back while also pushing my body is ways I wouldn't do alone. I am so happy I found this gym! The coaches are friendly, supportive, and always encouraging me to lift a little heavier and sprint a little harder. It has been the perfect balance of friendly, motivating, and engaging. The classes are quick, effective, and fun, and they offer a variety between lifting, cardio, or hybrid. I must admit, I was initially skeptical about joining this gym as I've often heard of people getting hurt with crossfit (which is totally different). But after taking a chance and spending a few weeks here, I can honestly say I'm hooked! I've been at it for 5 months and can clearly see results in weight loss and muscle gain. Also, much less back pain as I have strengthened my core. During the first week, the workouts were so intense that I was so sore I could hardly walk. However, that was just part of the process. With the consistent support and guidance of the excellent trainers, I have learned my limits and worked through a few setbacks. Now, I hardly feel sore anymore, except the average kind of soreness that comes with a good workout. What stands out to me are the trainers who genuinely care about my form and comfort, making every session enjoyable and productive. The times of the classes work well with my schedule, though I do wish there were noon classes. On the bright side, I've heard they will be adding one soon, so I'm looking forward to that! Overall, this gym offers a fantastic fitness experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, whether you're a beginner or an advanced athlete. It's a supportive community where everyone works together to achieve their goals. Also, it's not a cult, and I'm not just saying that. You can be as involved as you want to be. I really like group Training and have done a few in town over the years. They have been great but they lacked resistance/weight training. Functional Training for 45 minutes allows me to get everything I need in a short period of time. Cardio and weight training on alternate days. Every class is different and I get a whole body workout. I've been doing F45 since may and recently moved to the Goleta Location. It's in Magnolia Center. The workouts have been awesome and I feel great. Also, next door to the grocery store for a little shopping after!! The trainers take the time to go over each movement and assist you throughout the class if needed. F45 Goleta ROCKS! I joined F45 Goleta in May 2023, freshly cleared from a shoulder reconstruction, not knowing what to expect, of myself or F45 Goleta, slightly shy and intimidated. Quickly, I was impressed by Oliver's greeting my first day, his knowledge and efficient questioning (not prying) of any medical conditions the gym is to be aware of, in the case that a workout may need to be modified for me. This was important and stood out to me due to my recent surgery. The next day I met Sam and as we start to warm up, the first thing she asked me was how my shoulder was doing. First thought, "Wow, they do their homework, communicate and care about each individual". Why would they care or know about the new guy with so many members to keep track of after my first day there? Next day Noah introduced himself to me, same question and then the next coach and so on.... Wow. Well, I continued to find out that's simply how they get it done at F45 Goleta! The other members of F45 Goleta, especially those that have been members for a while, were all very welcoming and positive, cheering for each other, adding a real sense of community. F45 Goleta holds an energetic, electric and motivating environment that quickly made me feel supported my first week where I was still unsure of my physical capabilities and fitness. I felt this positive culture was a direct mirror to what the management and coaches teach at F45 Goleta. At that point, I knew F45 Goleta was going to be home base for weeks to come. The Goleta team's attention to detail made me feel like I was able to overcome being the "new guy", created a comfortable environment and facilitated the launch of my fitness journey and shoulder rehabilitation. I love F45 Goleta!!! This month I hit my one year anniversary as a member at the F45 Goleta Location and I've completed 320 classes!!! Since day one the Manager Sam and her awesome team have welcomed me, my family and my friends with open arms! I love the 5am time slot as it allows me to get my workouts in before my busy working-mom life begins. The challenging but fun workouts are different everyday with a good mix of strength and cardio and the playlists are the best! Sam and her coaching team do an amazing job of ensuring the members are reaching new PRs while ensuring our form and safety are the priority. The gym and equipment are always clean and the variety in weights is unmatched. If it weren't for the high energy and motivating gym environment I wouldn't be as committed. As a college student, getting a good workout in at the rec cen can take almost two hours with having to wait in line for every machine. F45 makes it so much simpler with great coaches, adequate machines and equipment, and a large enough area to accommodate a full class.
