So far, during my many years of coming to this branch I haven't had any bad experiences (unless you count standing in line with pushy, grumpy people). The tellers are friendly, professional and helpful (hmm, maybe an occasional less-than-friendly exception to that), even when the branch is busy and customers are being impatient and rude (I'd write that you know who you are, but you probably lack that kind of self-awareness). Just recently, when my debit card was about to expire and I hadn't received my new one yet, I went into this branch where an amiable banker helped me right away and reissued my card. The card arrived within the time-frame I was told it would (though I guess I should also thank USPS for that?). I only use Chase for basic banking needs, but so far those needs have been met. There's only so much love I am going to show for a massive financial institution (not much), so these four stars are for the nice people working at this location.

It is a nice boutique credit union tucked away in the Franklin Mall area of Santa Clara. The interior has been remodeled and is more inviting than ever. Over the years I have been helped by some wonderful individuals; Liz, Regina, Carmen, Valerie, Michelle, Bertha, Victoria, Fabi, Nancy etc.,all of whom have always been very personable and friendly. (I apologize for those individuals that I missed here). Some are still here while many are gone, though I appreciate them all! While it has been more than a year, there is one very special person that I need to call out. Susan! She is so wonderful. While making the final payment of my out of state mortgage that was held by another lender, she was instrumental with helping me with the procedure and necessary forms to fill out. And while she could have just handed me the paperwork and sent me on my way, she devoted her valuable time to seeing that everything was completed and submitted properly. Why her help truly mattered is while my mortgage had reached maturity and as required I requested a loan payoff from the lender, their AR department had no clue what the payoff department was doing and began marking my payment (a final one) as late to the credit bureaus for 3 months, thereby effecting my credit. It took months of fighting them to get this corrected and it was due in large part to Susan and the help and attention to details that won the case. I never got the chance to properly thank her until a chance service call Long after. Her kindness rules the day! While everyone is great, she is my favorite. While I live out of state, I will always keep an account here as I have not come across another institution with this level of customer service And kindness! We met up at this particular location and I don't think I've ever had a more pleasant experience at a credit union, specifically because of Nancy. She was so kind, helpful, and skilled and made the transaction between me and the seller easy peasy. I highly recommend this branch because of Nancy and I hope she gets all the recognition and praise in the world. Also, this particular PCU was tucked in a very peaceful plaza that felt safe (and had ample parking spaces). Unfortunately, I was treated badly because of my disability at the Curtner Avenue location, and I cannot--and will not--return to that building. No apology can undo what happened. No one at the branch intervened to stop the abuse.

I went to the bank to get help setting up online banking, as it's not a regular account and requires processing. Every time I went to the bank, there was no one available to assist. Finally, I made an appointment with Kristian Aeguello, but when I arrived at the bank, he didn't show up. I then spoke to the manager, Dennis Del Rosario, who was even less helpful. After a year, we still don't have online banking access. Unfortunately, this experience has made me feel that this is not a reliable bank for business banking.
