He said one was definitely a problem and the other needed to step it up. He apologized and gave me a couple slices of bacon to try at home on the house . Second time I went in was about a month later, and they basically threw the food at me on the counter after it was up , the silverware went on the floor. I only ordered, never spoke any other word, different people that time. I merely picked up my food and walked out. 3rd time, today, I ordered 3/4 # carne meat and 1/4 pork fat. The girl had only put, 1/3 one in a container, I asked " what was that" nicely, wondering if it was something, different. I explained that I had asked for 3/4 pound and a3 pound of the pork fat . She said " then why don't you say what do you mean?" My switch flipped‼ I said you know this is the third time that I've come in here and every time I have an issue I don't have an issue eating anywhere else on the Southside, she was already signed and rolling her eyes at me and she nasty responded. Well" me either." Ask her if it was my speech or my pronunciation and she didn't hear me right ? She said no, " it's none of that". " you just need to tell it like it is and speak what you want." The hog was from our supplier but the beef was theirs. The beef was excellent quality. great on the hoof to delivered weight ratio. We just had a hog processed there and we are pleased with the cuts received and the delivered weight ratio. It tells me that the cutters know what they are doing. The only thing that I noticed is that since they became part of another organization their prices for slaughter increased quite a bit. Hopefully the increase was to maintain a higher quality personnel. Last batch lasted 2 years with no issues...only time will tell on this batch. And their office personnel was very helpful, and very pleasant.

There is some debate on of Pueblo or Hatch chilis are the best. They specifically mentioned getting the dynamite because it is more spicy or the hottest green chili. I had to try it out. I bought a bushel of the dynamite and had them roast garlic in with it. I made some green pozole and it was very good. If you are passing through or even if it is a little out of the way it is well worth stopping. So there is more work involved, you need to de seed and a little prep to store these but in my opinion it is well worth it. Stop by and check them out.

I've been going to this farm for the last 15 years for my chili. For the past few years I've had…read morenothing but trouble when I try to order eight or more bushels. Today I decided to call before I went so I wouldn't have any trouble & talked to a lady named Terry. I asked her if it was OK for me to go by & pay for the 8 bushels & pick them up later on during that day, she said it would be fine. When I got there an older lady was so upset because I wanted to do this. This isn't the first time that I was treated like I was a huge bother. Last year they did the same thing to me and I just chalked it up to the lady having a bad day, but I will NEVER go there again. Neither will my family. I will never recommend this place to anybody in Denver like I have in the past. We ended up going to a different farm & treated awesome by 2 very kind ladies & even got a discount for buying more than 5 bushels. Dana and Nikki at DiTomaso farm were amazing!!! They will get my friends and family future business from now on. GOOD RIDDANCE disanti farms
