I have never been to this particular area; tucked behind 95 in an industrial zone, we passed an adult bookstore and an rv lot in a poorly lit, very dark area, and I felt a little nervous- but trusty google maps directed us correctly to the very large parking lot and huge warehouse/store. As my husband and I entered the building, I realized that this huge store would allow us lots of time to peruse and browse, as we faced many rows of materials. We asked a helpful store associate where we could find what we were looking for: vinyl flooring. We found our section easily and stared at a beautiful large display of different samples of the kind of flooring we wanted: waterproof. An employee walked by and we stopped him so that we could find out more info. He told us that the display we were looking at was very old, with none of those pieces in stock at all. He advised us to look for the boxes behind each display to know what amount of flooring was currently in stock. This info was invaluable and narrowed our search down tremendously. Even with these limitations, Floor & Decor still had a ton of options. It was fairly easy to narrow down our choices based on availability and price, denoted with easy to read signs. There were lots of affordable options and several on clearance or on sale. I could not tell the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive, so I was just going by looks alone. In less than 30 minutes, we had looked at every sample, picked out our top 5, taken pictures, and sent everything to our contractor, who purchased our top choice directly from this store in a matter of days. As we were leaving, we took a detour to another aisle, and immediately became engrossed in all the beautiful tile displays. Seeing marble, granite, stone, and other materials up close was surreal and rather beautiful. At the front of the store, we found lot of already-built demo pieces, with beautiful little vignettes of stylish decor and floor and backsplash and everything all tied together. I was wowed by some of the designs and contrasts of materials. I am so used to seeing the same backsplashes and tiles that I really had no idea so many options existed. I would return to this store in a heartbeat the next time I need flooring, which hopefully is not for a very long time! Not a bad date night either LOL.

We went chose a carpet then before we left, we selected something different. Pete came out and measured; the team came out and installed the carpet which we had to prepare for before the installation. When I went to check their work...They installed the wrong carpet. I contacted Pete and shared a picture of the sample he gave me vs what was installed. He called me and told me that the carpet they installed is better than what we chose so he's sure it looks great. I told him it didn't, but it's irrelevant since it's done. Not even an apology. I told him I would like to confirm I paid for the carpet I wanted (which was cheaper) and not the carpet he gave us. He said he'll call me Monday he doesn't have the information. Never got a call Monday. So I followed up and asked for my receipt. Which shows we were charged for the carpet they installed. To which he replied with a whole new story "WE did not have enough of the other carpet. There's only 20 feet on it. I thought we had discussed that because I didn't pick a cookie dough for you". I told him I was highly disappointed with this entire experience. We did not talk about switching the order back, I also requested a call back...which didn't happen. And now there is a fictitious story and all the while not even an apology. I closed with "we will not be using your company for ANYTHING in the future." His response "I'm sorry for the disappointment you were shown some samples sometimes the rolls aren't large enough...I'll make sure when the next experience that I make it up to you...I can't remember the exact line of communication because I deal with a lot of different sales, but I've been doing this for 21 years and usually do the same thing every time if I did and I apologize....That is really nice carpet."
