Two weeks in Italy. That was the plan. So I started planning until I read a Yelp review of Scott and EZTravelpad and I'm very glad I did. Then I turned to Scott. Rome. Florence. A bnb in Tuscany's Chianti region and ending with Venice. Boutique hotels, not much 'touristy' stuff but just enough (especially in Florence). Lots of moving pieces and parts with pickups, shuttles trains and tickets. While hiccups are just an inherent part of travel; especially when you go overseas. But there just weren't many this time around. Nothing to get all fretted about. We have not taken our trip yet, but so far so great! Scott handled my loose description of the vacation my family wanted with diligence. Basically, I called Scott out of the blue and asked him to plan a week vacation to Hawaii that needed to happen in about a month for 2 adults and two children, he handled that, and then I wanted to add 2 more adults and change the departing airport. Then I wanted to change the type of room we were staying in, but couldn't decide if we were going to stay in a suite or two rooms. The entire time I was asking for guidance he was obliging and fit in all our needs. I have never used a travel agent before, and in my opinion based on this first interaction, it is highly worth it. Finding plane tickets for 6 people would have been a headache, let alone a resort, and a car rental. Scott at EZTravelPad created an amazing Italy adventure for us. From the very beginning to the end, no detail was missed. He arranged a variety of hotel types which really gave us good insight to Italian culture. Each location was suited perfectly for what we wanted to experience. Venice was a bed & breakfast type; Bologna was classic in the midst of the market district; Florence was contemporary with an amazing rooftop pool, bar and view of the city; and Rome was within walking distance (even with a suitcase) of the train station and situated near several restaurants. Scott arranged for private tours for us in Venice and Florence and an amazing bus tour of Tuscany which took us to the quaint, hilltop town of Sienna, lunch at a chianti winery with a gorgeous view and then to Pizza. My husband and I wanted to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon and we wanted to visit a few different islands while we were there. We started to plan our honeymoon and quickly realized that there was A LOT to consider when booking a trip like that, a lot that we did not know.
