The shop is clean, people wear masks, and there's WiFi!! Suite B Room 4 is a bit hard to find - downstairs and near a number of other businesses. Dina listened to all my issues and took them into account while installing my twists. Without exposing myself too much, I'm tender-headed. I reached out two days in advance on Yelp and she responded immediately about her availability and also about the type of hairstyle I wanted. During my appointment she was nice, funny, and allowed me to relax. I never have a good experience with getting braids, even weaves done in the DC/MD area, typically the braider is rude, they pull your hair, and just overall very very unprofessional but Dina was the complete opposite. So, I will be going back and I've already recommended her to some of my girlfriends. She is now my new permanent hair stylist in the area!!!

Another client came in and wanted twist, because the Bridgett was the only one that could do twist I had to switch to the other lady. I was ok with that until she started braiding my hair too tight. I told her not too tight and she would still braid tight. I shouldn't have to remind you for every braid. Bridgett on the other hand was told once and she made sure I was comfortable. Not to mention, the other lady took a 30min break to go eat. I was a little upset because what in the world, where did you go lady, are you coming back? When she came back down stairs I found out it was her birthday. I wished her happy birthday and she apologized for taking so long. So I quickly got over that. Then the daughter comes down and she starts braiding my hair because she didn't want to take out a weave. She was slower and even more heavy handed. Oh and Bridgett made parts so my edges wounded be braided and of course the other lady braided them anyway. Do I like the finish product? YES. Will I go back? YES. Second, the staff was all very friendly, both in person and in making the appointment. Thirdly, the location was very nice. I'd go back to get my nails and hair done again. The drive was rough coming from Arlington to Maryland, but that's a no-brainer. Off rush-hour hours though, this would be worth the drive from VA, DC, or other parts of MD.

The overall look of the salon was clean and nice but this specific person's work station was dusty and full of hair like they didn't clean it for a long time.
