After getting 12 bids from some really solid roofing companies, choosing BigHorn Roofing was not a…read morequick or easy decision for me. I spent a lot of time comparing companies, products, warranties, communication, and overall professionalism because this is the kind of investment you only want to make once. What separated BigHorn Roofing from everyone else was how detailed, transparent, and thorough they were from the very beginning. Jake Bombard put together one of the most detailed reports and workups I received from any company. Every question I had was answered clearly without pressure or sales tactics. You could tell they genuinely cared about doing things the right way, not just getting another job. The installation itself exceeded my expectations. We had ridge vents installed, upgraded weather barriers beyond what some other companies even discussed, and chose a long-term, high-quality shingle that will honestly outlast me. The crew was incredibly professional, fast, respectful, and extremely picky about the quality of their work. You could see they cared about every detail and wanted it done right the first time. What also impressed me was the follow-through. A few days later, another person came out to inspect everything and officially sign off on the work, which gave me even more confidence in the company. I also appreciated having one of the owners personally involved. That level of accountability matters. From the office staff, to Jake, to the installers, to the final inspector, not one question ever went unanswered. Communication was outstanding the entire process. They kept the property clean, treated my home with respect, and delivered exactly what they promised. In today's world, it is hard to find companies that truly take pride in their work. BigHorn Roofing absolutely does. I have already recommended them to others, and I will continue to do so without hesitation.

I was so tired of being ghosted by other companies even after they contacted me. Bighorn came out with satellite photo measurements in hand, inspected the roof, and gave me a bid in 48 hours with an itemized contract. Could not recommend them more. Jonathan for the pre-job estimate and Nate for the post job inspection and final job site clean up were the best. Note to some of the bigger companies who acted like they were doing you a favor by just talking to you. Don't bad mouth your competition, not professional. Steve M

While I think they did a good job and I like their products, they were super expensive and I still had 14 more windows that needed to be replaced. In May of this year I started to seriously consider getting the rest replaced. Enter Alpine Exteriors. They provided the third bid and landed in the middle price wise. They were considerably less expensive than Champion (no surprise) and slightly more expensive than a no name company that came out selling cheap quality windows. But Alpine Exteriors quality, service, and selection really stood out. I met with the owner, Hiram Molloy, at my home and there was zero sales pressure and no games. He has access to a number of different windows at all different price points, so he was able to find something in my budget and a quality I was happy with. They were installed a couple weeks ago and that was the real test. I'm pretty OCD and I want perfection. I'm never fully satisfied because that would be impossible, but the installers did a nice job. They were friendly and detail oriented. I asked a lot of questions and spent a fair amount of time watching the install and they were courteous and obviously knew what they were doing. They also cleaned up the mess and used preventative measures around my furniture to keep the mess at a minimum. Upon final cleanup they collected all the stickers from the windows and placed them on copy paper so I could apply for the rebate. Hiram followed through on his promise and mailed me all the rebate paperwork with instructions. If you are looking for a quality window company that offers a competitive price and does what they say they are going to do, look no further than Alpine Exteriors.

I think I did it out of guilt, but the next day felt terrible. Fortunately, I was able to void the contract and do a search for a better window company. I found it. Alpine Exteriors was by far the best choice. From start to finish, the process was simple, and we have nine great new windows! When we can afford to do the rest, we will definitely go with Hiram Molloy and Alpine Exteriors again.

The home is small so the large vents on each end of the gable were used for ventilation. I also had them take the evaporative cooler off the roof, remove the duck work in the attic and install an electric roof vent where the cooler had been. I came home to find they had cut 7 roof vents into the attic. There were no vents before as they were not needed. With the gable vents and the new attic vent, it was overkill. The project was done in May and the first snow of the season in November, I called them because I was getting ceiling damage in a bedroom right under one of the roof vents. I have plaster ceiling and walls and the leak was doing a lot of damage. The first thing he said was I was trying to blame previous damage on them. I was in shock. I said no, I don't want you in my house, I will fix the ceiling but it is getting bad so please come and fix the leak. Two days later I called again and he claimed they had come out. I said no way, there is a lot of snow and there is no sign anyone has been here. Then the guy asked how did I expect them to fix it in the snow and hung up on me. In the spring, I had a roofer come and take out all the vents and fix the sheeting, and put new shingles to fix the job. He also said the ridge shingles were not the kind used for the ridge and they were coming apart. They had used regular shingles and just folded them over. When he took the vents out, he told me they looked like they were old/used and were not up to code. He said several had been leaking and they were probably leaking because the flashing on the vents did not slide under the shingles very far like the newer ones do by several inches. So bottom line, they put used vents (that were not needed) on my new roof that were not to code, did not fix the leaks they caused and did not install the ridge cap properly. A year later a new problem came up. The electric roof vent they installed was making noise, so I had someone come to replace it. He said he was surprised it had not fallen into my attic. They had cut a hole in the underlayment felt and had not secured the vent to the trusses! It was just floating there on the underlayment with the shingles just tucked up under it! The contractor installed the new one properly. Stay away from these guys!!! I have warned people over the years not to call them. The guy I had talked to was the project manager that used to do the TV commercials. He was rude and condescending talking down to me like I was an idiot. All these repairs cost me dearly but they would do nothing to honor their warranty.
