7-Eleven is a convenient store near our house. We stop there all the time for odds and ends. I've…read morenoticed that the last few times I was there that they aren't following COVID guidelines. The staff isn't wearing masks, the customers aren't always wearing masks, and a lot of people aren't following social distancing rules. The last time I was there, it was near closing, there was a young man with two younger kids, I'm guessing 12 or 13. None of them had masks on. The young man was trying to pay but was having issues. The young man behind the counter, also not wearing a mask, opening the other register to ring me out, but the family with out the mask just kept getting closer and closer. It made me really uncomfortable. The whole time I was waiting to ring out, people were walking in with no masks. Very, very, frustrating. They need to in force the CDC guidelines. No one is exempt.

It was around 10:30 so I get it, but at the same time, damn...I know I look young but I definitely don't look younger than 30... thank you but no thank you in this case. I have a picture of my ID on my phone if you really wanted to confirm my age, but I hope my 70 year old father and my girlfriend would be enough to not look 19. I will use today to feel good about myself because the cashier was so ignorant that he thought I was under 21. I feel really good about that. The only thing that really bothered me about this interaction is that the cashier became aggressive when I offered to show him a picture of my ID on my phone. He was acting like I was about to just snatch the pack of american spirits from his hand, grab the beer, and disappear out the doors. What is wrong with this dude. I hope I can come back again soon so I can edit my post and include his name in all of these!!! Will be coming back here only because of its convenience.

Next time, the latter won't be invited to the frozen yogurt party. Ice cream was available as well. There were a few more selections for the yogurt but the one I chose was the one and will always be the one. Cashier was friendly. They were staffed enough to fit the needs of their customers.
