For example, I told her that I struggle with my eyes feeling tired, and she explained what I can do for it. She also went above and beyond to check to make sure my eyes were producing tears and rule this out as a reason why my eyes were dry. In addition, Dr. McCormick explained concepts that I did not understand, and she helped me understand why people have the eye issues that they do. For instance, she explained astigmatism to me, and I've never had an optometrist take the time to explain things to me like Dr. McCormick. Lastly, Dr. McCormick can answer any questions you may have. Not only is she knowledgeable, but she reads the latest research and implements it in her practice. She also uses the latest technology to learn about as much as your eyes as she can. Dr. McCormick is so intelligent and kind that I won't go to anyone else. There is no one who puts in as much time and care into their optometry practice as Dr. McCormick.

I am so glad I went, and to Dr. Gordon in particular. His staff is very friendly and professional! As a "medical wimp," the staff was very patient with me and even showed me what would happen before they performed some of the procedures on me. Dr. Gordon had a wonderful and down-to-earth personality (not to mention a great source of humor!) that immediately put me at ease, made me feel like a genuinely valued person, and helped me understand with utmost clarity the findings of the exam. The waiting room was also comfortable and included a TV and several of the books Dr. Gordon has authored. There is also a laboratory with many styles of frames to choose from on-site. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone, but especially to people like myself who get nervous during medical procedures and need a reassuring presence. I was really needing glasses my eyes have became terrible I go in they say that they are surprised…read morethat my insurance usually doesn't pay for them every two years but they were going to that I had that option just for the lenses so I picked out some frames that I liked and when I went to go pick them up I didn't like how they looked on me even after I picked them out I just wasn't happy with them I didn't want to have to wear them until I was up for another pair of glasses so I let them know that telling them I wasn't trying to be a pain but I wasn't happy with them so then she proceeds to tell me that she did not tell me that my insurance would pay for that that I was not up for eligibility for it like I lied or something she said the two-year thing was for people under 19 years old how would I have even known about the two-year thing unless she had told me when she said she didn't so now I asked for a refund and she said she can't give me my whole refund she shorted me $40 I'm on assistance she knows this because of my insurance and she took me for $40 I asked about another pair of glasses she said I have to pay for the other ones first before if a patient wasn't happy with the service they would still take care of you somehow to make you happy nowadays they don't and this is a perfect example
