Years later we moved to Kingston so I thought I'd take another shot. First full set I gave it time to get used to them but while I liked the dark lashes I wasn't thrilled with the curl of the lash. I felt ugly. I told the folks at lash lady worried I was going to hurt their feelings but nope! They worked with me and gave me financial relief when I had fallout. Second time (with my tech Bella) and OMG!!! She introduced me to the regular c curl which is so natural and lush looking and I'm hooked! She also switched me from cat eye to doll eye. I was convinced I wanted to be Megan fox and insisted the first time but nope! Bella was absolutely right that this set of hybrid c curl doll eye is gorgeous on me. So long story short... go here. These ladies work with you, they take pride in making you happy. It's just a great experience. Thank you Bella and the other great staff!

Whatever they used made me feel like bees stinging my eyeballs. I also paid 310 for a full set which is 2 1/2 hours She did mine for 1 3/4 min and when I said something they said oh she can only do what she can do. 100% of lash places charge by time. I then call and request an appointment with a more advanced lash and I sent them pictures of my lashes before and was told that if I wanted them full she could have added more fans. So why didn't she add more fans with the 35 min she had left? My eyes were not tapped correctly and my right eye was stinging so bad I was crying the woman had to fan me over 5 times, I asked to use the restroom she said no can you wait if you go to the bathroom I'll have to tape you all over, I said no I need to go to the restroom When I came back she accused me of washing my eyelashes and had an attitude like now they're all going to fall off. No, I didn't touch water to my eyes those are the tears from how badly my eyes were stinging They then said oh sometimes people's eyes sting, I get that if you don't normally get your eyelashes done and maybe you're allergic to the glue, but I am not. I have been getting my lashes done 2 sometimes 3 times a month for the past 5 years (unfortunately the girl I saw moved) I sent them the pictures of my lashes today, and the lashes I normally get and the owner had the audacity to say the application was flawless. The lashes were so far from my lash line I can clearly see where they were attached. I didn't ask for any money back, nothing, maybe just some validation or an apology but all I got was talked to in an EXTREMELY fake condescending voice saying that everything is perfect. I will attach pics of their work and my other lashes you guys tell me if their application is "perfect"

This review is specifically for a men's haircut from Tom…read more I'll start by saying that I'm relatively picky about who cuts my hair. I wear my hair a little longer than most guys, and therefore I appreciate a little more finesse and attention to detail than most barbers around the city generally provide. I moved to Boston in 2007 and tried haircuts from half a dozen different places, all of which were well known and had solid reviews. Each time, I walked away feeling like I got a mediocre cut. It was either a "salon" cut, from a woman who mainly cuts other women's hair and worked awkwardly around my short hair, or it was a typical barber shop cut, where I'd be in and out in 15 minutes after the electric clippers had been harshly and injudiciously applied to my entire head. Then, I found Tom. Tom is an outstanding barber who embodies a rare combination of precision, detail orientation, and artistic ability that I have yet to encounter in any other barber in or out of Boston. The first thing I notice about Tom (and have always appreciated) is his professionalism. He greets me every time I come in with a firm handshake and a smile. After he offers me something to drink, we approach his barber chair (which he makes sure to swivel towards me just so I don't have to walk 2 additional steps). He then begins the consulting process - looking at my hair to see how it's grown since my last visit, and listening intently as I detail what type of cut I'd like. I feel like he always instantly gets what I'm requesting, and knows exactly how he's going to execute it. He even moves like a professional while he's cutting my hair: always sharp and precise, but with a fluidity that exudes confidence. Tom is always willing to spend a little extra time on my hair to "get it right", and that's something I truly appreciate. I always leave Dramatics feeling like I received a great haircut, and have never been disappointed in the 6 years I've been going to Tom. The only thing I'll say that could be improved is this: since he cuts hair at a salon, he doesn't (as of yet) have a "man's" barber chair. It would be nice if there were a more masculine chair that I could sit in to sort of differentiate him and the service he's providing from the other stylists. Regardless, I think I'd sit on a milk crate if I had to in order to get a cut from Tom. Bottom line: you can always expect a great haircut from Tom. Whether you just want a simple and quick men's haircut, or a longer, more complex cut, he can do both with the same detail orientation and precision. I would be shocked if you didn't leave Tom thinking it was the best haircut you've ever received, which is why I go from Boston to West Bridgewater once every month to see him.

I'm so surprised no one has reviewed this salon yet!…read more I have been going to Dramatics since I was a sophomore in high school. I saw Nikki (who, sadly left.... so I'll most likely stop going since she was the reason I loved this salon... she was amazing at foiling!). On a typical visit, whether it were a touch up or partial or full foil, Nikki always did an amazing job. Their prices are decent... the typical cost was around 120 before tip... for a full foil it ran around 160. This seems like a deal since other salons in Boston are almost double!~ All in all... the hair stylists are extremely amiable and super chatty, the decor is cool, and the location is convenient with plenty of parking plus it's extremely easy to get to. However, now that Nikki is gone I'll most likely stick local for now on =)

Here is an explanation of the entire process (wish I had this when I began)…read more 1. Call or message Wincy to book an appointment for microblading eyebrows. 2. When you get there, you sign some papers to approve the process. 3. Then, she begins to outline what your new eyebrows would look like with a ruler and eyebrow pencil. 4. Next, she applies numbing cream onto your eyebrows and you wait 10 minutes. 5. You lay down on the folding table and she begins. After she's done, she'll apply vitamin A & D ointment on your eyebrows with a q-tip. You will need to do this twice a day for a week. You will have to avoid contact with water on your eyebrows as well (this includes showering). The first day will be EXTREMELY dark, but you'll see it slowly fade over the course of a few days. It starts to get very itchy, but you must resist touching them so they can heal properly. A week later, you'll be able to shower and do everything normally again. It's possible that she may have missed some spots while microblading, but there will be a touch-up appointment ($80) 4 - 6 weeks later. Overall, I am very happy with the way my eyebrows came out. I was much more relieved after the touch-up appointment, because it wasn't perfect after the first time.

I already suffer from anxiety so this was just high gear but Wincy was so nice and informative & she didn't make me feel awkward at all for having such high anxiety so I really appreciated that. And my eyebrows came out beautifully!!! I am so happy and will definitely be going back. I would definitely recommend Eyedol to anyone, especially if getting microblading done for the first time & nervous.
