I have been coming to this salon for over 5 years and have never once left a negative review…read moreanywhere before, but my last several visits has left me so upset that i'm not coming back My most recent appointment was the final straw. My nails were uneven, poorly shaped, and not drill filed correctly at all. The top of the nails were uneven, and my natural nail underneath was no longer attached correctly. I initially wanted to do a blue French tip again, but they were so bad that I said never mind. He took off the blue, but as you can still see, there is blue polish left behind. The sides of the acrylic are uneven and bumpy. I had to get the entire set taken off immediately after because of how bad they looked. I was refunded for the nails themselves, but I was still charged for the take off, which made no sense considering they were not even properly soaked off. They were ripped off. While my nails were being ripped off with nail clippers, I was told that I need to say something if I feel uncomfortable during my appointment, as if I am the problem or somehow responsible for teaching the nail tech how to properly structure acrylics. They kept telling me that the color looked the way it did because the acrylic was old and turning yellow, even though I never once said the color itself was the issue. The issue was the structure, filing, shaping, and the fact that my natural nail underneath was no longer attached correctly. She kept saying she could reshape them, but reshaping was only part of the problem. Also, the fact that my natural nail was no longer attached correctly to the acrylic should have been where the tech guided me toward what actually needed to be done instead of just continuing to put polish over it and moving forward with the service. Another time, I got gel polish on my toes and the polish ended up bubbling and leaking polish. Another visit, I got blue French tips and the blue lines were not even or done correctly at all, and the shape of the nails was completely wild. Then another set I got was pink with chrome, and the way the acrylic was laid made my nail beds look extremely wide and completely flooded my cuticles. As you can see in the attached photos, everything I am describing is visually there. Linda was the reason I continued coming here for years, but ever since she left, I genuinely have not had one good experience. At this point, I honestly cannot even comprehend how some of these nail techs are licensed.

I always get a gel manicure and they normally last up to 3 weeks from here, but the past two times my manicurist has rushed through the process. The most recent being today, even though I complained that the last gel manicure did not last and my nails need to cure longer under the UV they ignored my request. Now my nails are tacky to the touch with air bubbles with a dull finish. Needless to say I will not be going back!!!!!

Making an appointment was a very simple process, going through Facebook, which made communication very seamless. There is a very nice variety of colors, and the collection is constantly expanding. I came in for my appointment and picked the colors I wanted. I am super indecisive and usually feel rushed, but I was made to feel very comfortable as I debated between all the purples I could choose. In the end I left feeling more than satisfied as the vision I had for my nails came to life. Not only did I get what I wanted but I didn't have to break the bank to get beautiful nails and beautiful service. I am super super in love w these nails

But you learn over time, that not all salons are created equal, whether it's pricing, service, or quality. I used to come here in high school for my eyebrows before I learned how to deal with them on my own. They were always great and my aunt still goes in regularly. It's a crazy week before a wedding - and I knew I wanted an underarm wax, but hadn't sorted out the details. I remembered Liz's and jumped in my car randomly last night. I popped in just before they closed, not realizing they were 10 minutes from shutting down -- and still got great service for a quick wax. The technician was a pro - and very sweet, apologizing if I flinched. Really friendly staff, and no bruising or craziness the next day -- which can absolutely happen if you go to a place where they don't know what they're doing. Not the case here! I've got to remember to come back here for my next pedicure!
