Worst eyebrow threading place I've been to. She threaded so hard she cut both brows in various places. I thought it hurt a little more than usual and when I got home I got a closer look and noticed tiny cuts everywhere. She didn't even shape them correctly she left my ends thicker than my arch. YES! I finally found the best eyebrow threading place in the high desert. After much trial and error I found it. YAY! While I was looking for different eyebrow places on yelp, I came across an old review that mentioned someone moving locations to Vallarta supermarket. I decided to hunt that lady down because that was the only positive review I've read. -It's located at the front of the market next to a small hair salon. Don't be silly like me and walk all the way to the back. (Ended completely lost in the meat section) -Rita is AMAZING. I literally looked at her eyebrows and said "I WANT YOURS!" Her eyebrows were perfectly groomed, full, and complimented her face. I told her about my previous experiences and pointed out my crooked eyebrow from my last threading place. -She listened to exactly what I wanted and after one eyebrow she handed me a mirror and asked if I liked it before moving on to my next eyebrow. -Loved my brows so much I drove out to ulta and spent 50+ dollars on completely new brow products to compliment my new brows. YUP that's how much I love em. -BEST PART- only 9$!! Cheapest in the high desert too (that I've come across) Rita is seriously my brow savior! Not from the area but as I was shopping around Vallarta I thought I'd take a chance and get my eyebrows done here. Walked in and one employee was free while the other was finishing up. I signed in and was told to sit and wait while the one that was free went to the back . Well I sat and waited and once the one that was busy finished she just skipped me and took on someone that had just walked in. Clearly a lack of communication between the workers and even after I told the lady I wasn't waiting for anyone in particular she still did nothing so I just walked out. Btw $10 for brows read more

I've been here three times now. Admittedly, I was nervous on my first visit. The location is unexpected since its located inside of the Vallarta Supermarket but why not? It is a very small establishment, not luxurious but clean & simple. If you want foofoo & luxury pampering along with high prices for this type of service then this is not the place for you. But if you want simple, clean, get the job done well for a very reasonable price then it works & is accommodating. My first visit was a "fix it" visit. My brows had been growing out and filling in (an effort to correct an over waxing mess up). I also wanted my upper lip & chin area done. It was a Friday around 6pm. I signed in & sat down to wait. My wait was short maybe 2-3 minutes at most. The lady (sorry no name) was nice, curtious, she listened to what I wanted & to my concerns, she offered suggestions including using a mirror to show me. My second visit was 3-4 weeks later. This time on a Sunday about mid-afternoon. Vallarta was packed but there was no wait here. The lady that serviced me previously was not around so I nervously sat in the chair. This lady (again no name) was just as nice and accommodating. I needed brows, upper lip & chin again. On this visit, I felt like one of the gals. More than one associate commented on my nails (design) & even my shoes (liking them). They were all very friendly. On my most recent visit which was way over due, I was remembered by staff (don't know how since it had been a while between visits). It was a Friday, mid-day. Again I needed the same service and once again had the same experience as before. Again another lady (no name -you'd think I'd learn). She too was nice, curtious, listened & suggested. I am very happy with my eyebrows (they look normal now...finally!). Although I do not have a specific person to review (my fault for not getting names), all three of my visits have been positive. They set a standard of expectation on my first visit that has been met on each subsequent visit. The business hours are accommodating to those that have busy schedules. If you prefer threading over waxing or just want to give it a try, I would recommend this establishment. read more

Love this place! The location is a little hidden, it's the first little shop inside the Vallarta's supermarket on the bakery side of the store. Rita is absolutely amazing! I have never threaded, waxed or done anything "professional" to my brows. After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a try. Best decision ever! First off it's only $10 bucks. I have very light and thin brows so it's hard to get the thicker shape I want but Rita was so helpful and showed me exactly what she was going to do before she did anything. My brows came out so great and she always puts a little tint powder (they sell it there) to finish them off which I'm planning on buying too. I highly recommend this place. read more

This place is a hidden gem located inside Vallartas. At first glance looks a little off to be in a supermarket but this establishment, although very small, it's tidy. The workers are quick to clean and sanitize the working area (and instruments they've used) after they are done with a client and prior to a new client. The price is affordable and the service is very fast. They are open everyday with convenient hours. I came in last wknd to have my eyebrows done on a busy Friday evening and got seated within 15minutes. This was quick to me considering there were three women working and about 5 other clients ahead of me. I absolutely love my eyebrows. I am extremely particular about my brows since they have been ruined before in the past (waxing nightmare). The young woman who did them listened to how I wanted my eyebrows shaped and also filled them him with brow powder to give them a more fuller appearance. I receive lots of compliments on them and when I mention where I got them done many are surprised because they never knew this place exist! The girl seemed to know what she was doing and was quick and gentle. She didn't consult with me first before she began threading which made me uneasy.
