The photos turned out so good--they honestly look like they were taken by a professional photographer! The best part is that we took them ourselves using a remote, so we could press the button whenever we were ready to pose. It made the whole experience feel so relaxed and fun! They also have different photo booths you can use inside, and you can even turn your favorite photos into adorable keychains. Such a cute keepsake! We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back on our next visit (:

There are plenty of TikTok videos demonstrating directions though. It does get quite busy throughout the holiday season, so I would anticipate a wait if you are interested in coming then. As of July 2026, they had 2 classic backdrop rooms (1 pink and 1 blue), 1 with a star-designed backdrop which produced a transparent film, and 2 vintage booths in one room. The classic backdrop rooms is super spacious, so it is great for large parties. The 2 vintage booths were similar to those of 'Booth by Bryant,' but the lighting is so much better and you are able to see yourself as you are taking the photos. The classic backdrop cost $5/ 2 strips whereas the vintage photo booths cost $6/ 2 strips. You also have the option of paying an additional $15 to make an XL strip and this is one of many customization options.

I think it…read moreis worth mentioning that it was actually my very first professional shoot, so of course I was a little timid going in. However, as soon as I met both Jennifer & Sean, I was immediately put at ease at how laid-back they were. *On the plus side, they had hired a fantastic makeup artist, who also took on hair-styling, so I didn't even have to worry about any of that! Come on, who doesn't love to be pampered, even just a little bit?* The entire shoot lasted a few hours, but it felt like a whole long adventure! I went in with a naked face, and by night, I was rocking a completely different look that was fiercely more dramatic...I was LOVING it! The Jacobs pretty much helped me transition from thinking "oh god, I don't really know what I'm doing" to "I GOT THIS!" in just one session. Not only were they extremely open to suggestions, but they also had a good amount of input as to what they wanted (which I personally prefer). There was a great sense of communication and professionalism throughout the session and even before we had met up. After the shoot, I received the edited photos in a reasonable amount of time, as promised. Gotta say, I was blown away at the outcomes...I could barely recognize myself in some! I had a blast working with the talented and quirky couple, they are very down to earth as you will come to find once you work with them! Highly recommend their services for capturing beautiful moments.

From the very beginning, they were fantastic communicators, helping me with everything from choosing the location to discussing the overall style of the shoot. On the day of the session, they were warm, funny, and made everyone feel completely at ease. They were the perfect team to capture our family's memories. It was especially helpful that they spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin, which made communicating with my parents-in-law so much easier. Even more impressively, they somehow managed to get my cranky 9-month-old engaged and smiling throughout the session! And of course, the photos were absolutely stunning. The perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful experience. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and will definitely be booking Dave and Florence again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented photographers who truly know how to make the experience enjoyable for the whole family.

From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. Dave has a great eye for lighting, composition, and detail, but what impressed me most was his ability to make the session feel natural and relaxed. He takes the time to understand what you are looking for and provides excellent direction without making the process feel overly staged. The quality of the final photographs exceeded my expectations. They were polished, professional, natural, and beautifully captured. If you are looking for a photographer who combines technical expertise, creativity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend Dave Yip Photography. But as I neared the end, I realized I didn't want to look back and regret not capturing such a meaningful chapter of our story. I reached out to Tiffany at 33 weeks pregnant, thinking it might be too late, but she was so sweet, kind, and somehow made it work to fit us in. She created a space that felt calm and natural, and she truly captured the love, anticipation, and joy we were feeling. The photos turned out beautiful and I will treasure them forever. If you're on the fence about doing a maternity shoot, this is your sign. And if you're looking for someone who brings both incredible talent and genuine warmth, Tiffany is the one.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look
