The second time, Zoe spent a considerable amount of time helping to adjust a frame that appears to have defects as the underlying problem. Renee also got involved and they adjusted and worked with me tirelessly. Their devotion to their craft is evident. Their love for their customers (or future customers) is OUTSTANDING!!! I updated my personal info with REA a few years ago, when I left the Cherry Hill practice. For some strange reason, Cherry Hill never made the change, so the Hammonton office had my old address and number, which is now my dad's residence and phone number. Long story short, when the receptionist called to confirm my appointment, she called my dad's house, who subsequently told her to cancel the appointment (that's a whole 'nother story.) I'm pretty sure cancellations are only supposed to be accepted from the person THE APPOINTMENT IS FOR. So basically, my appointment was cancelled and I didn't even know it, so I showed up about 10 minutes before my regularly scheduled appointment, only to be told that I didn't have one anymore. Luckily, my mom had an appointment that day as well. She had already been waiting an hour and needed to go back to work, so she gave her appointment slot to me and left. I STILL had to wait another half hour for an appointment that had been scheduled for an hour before. I realize doctor's offices get busy, but an hour and a half past the appointment time is unacceptable, especially since there was only ONE other person in the office. When I questioned the receptionist as to why she accepted a cancellation from someone other than me, she was extremely nonchalant about it and couldn't really give me a straight answer. Nevermind that I had driven 20 minutes and waited an additional hour and a half, causing a huge inconvenience for two people. Then I tried to pay my copay with my Visa, since the "Visa" sticker was plainly displayed at the counter. "Oh no," the receptionist told me. "If I do that, I'll have to call the Cherry Hill office to get an authorization." Ummmm, then do it. That's YOUR job. "Just let them bill you" was her response. Again, an inconvenience since I want to pay NOW. So bottom line, I'm looking for a new optometrist, cause REA can't get their act together .
