The 5 star reviews that are on yelp are from the previous owners. Definitely beware! Update: I finally did get a response and they offered me a credit to my account for more services. When I went to tip stylist after service she rudely rushed me out and told me she's running behind and to hand it to receptionist. Not good attitude for being in people profession. You should have asked if there was anything you or your staff could do to assist me and my daughter with removing our wet jackets after coming in from the pouring rain outside. During our call, you mentioned that you didn't think I would leave your salon after your mean and unnecessary exchange. I responded that you can't predict a person's reaction that's why you should be kind to ALL. Did you think I would sit in your business and feel uncomfortable, rushed and unwanted? Yes, I've only been there 6 times in 1 Year (thanks for looking that up) and I've never felt an overwhelming sense of peace or warmth in your space. Like most women, I look forward to my time in a beauty salon and when I can share it with my daughter it's even more special. Your behavior ruined that experience. Mind you, this is all because you failed to evaluate a situation before addressing the customer. You made the customer the problem and that's a problem. If a shampoo area was crowded by 5 people, but meant to accommodate 6 then that's a problem that requires your attention. If you ask a customer whose been in your salon for 90 seconds to move out the way then that's a problem. Reading your review, I still don't think you understand that this was unnecessary and ridiculous on your part. I reacted by taking my business elsewhere and sharing my experience. It's not about the 6 visits. It's about the repeat visits over the years that will never happen. Melissa- The beauty salon is about more than creating outward beauty. I achieved such amazing natural color... fast!!…read more We did a mini consultation before we began and decided to go with "mocha", which is the most popular color. I've had my fair share of spray tans over the years (my husband eve part owned a salon that gave them), and I have never had a color choice like the ones given here. I thought it was awesome! Originally I thought I would want to go darker with the "espresso" and Fran sprayed me, let me look at my tan line, and let me decide. But she was right, "mocha" was just perfect. It's your option to wear (or not) whatever you want. They do have disposable thongs available if you don't want to go au naturale, but want as much color as possible. Fran took her time with me, and even applied baby powder to soak up excess moisture on a very hot day to prevent streaking. Conversation was great and she was super professional. This can certainly be an awkward thing and Fran made me feel completely at ease. If this is your first spray tan be prepared to not get wet for 8-12 hours although for $10 more they have an express option which allows for showering in just 3 hours. Wear baggy dark clothes, exfoliate and shave prior to your appointment. Booking same day was super simple, but I would recommend calling at least a few days in advance. There's 10% with Yelp check-in and BOGO half for first timers. Went with the latter option and cannot wait to return the next time and get sprayed again when I have another special occasion or just want to feel extra golden and sexy. I UV tan regularly and this color is so incredibly difficult to attain that way. Plus, this spray is organic and much bette for you! They also have a full spa downstairs offering facials and lash services. Parking unmetered out front was super simple. Went perfectly with grabbing a bite at Suraya down the street. Awesome find!!
