I explained that we drove a long way, my daughter is missing school and they pretty much said it's the Doctor's Policy and not our fault. They claimed they tried to reach out to me, but I received zero missed calls or voicemails regarding this. To be treated this way, especially in front of my daughter is so wrong and in my opinion terrible customer service. Do not go to this location!!

The frames are on the higher side price-wise, but they asked about my budget beforehand, making sure I was comfortable with the options they presented. As a Latino in a mostly white business with predominantly white customers, feeling this welcomed and valued was truly remarkable. You wait forever to be seen and then you're rushed through the exam with very little Dr/patient interaction other than "better 1, better 2?" I have absolutely NO confidence the prescription I was given is accurate. They don't address any concerns or possible solutions I have with the scarring issues I have on my right eye. I've made another eye exam appointment with another provider which I hope will have a more positive outcome.

Dana, the office manager, is incredibly enthusiastic and truly enjoys helping people pick out glasses that fit not only their face, but their personality as well. The office itself is comfortable, classy and 'trendy' (but not pretentious). In an area where there are a lot of chains that look and feel the same, Optik stands out as it could have been picked up out of downtown Brooklyn and dropped into a strip mall in Kingston. My husband, my mom, and myself all got our glasses here and were so impressed with prices and selection. Many known name brands, but also brands from all over the world. Additionally, Dr. Frank will go the extra mile to find frames even if he doesn't carry them. He was able to find a pair that I bought in Finland and couldn't purchase anywhere else in the US- including online.
