The girl at the counter said she couldn't do that and went to find the manager/owner(?) who told me they wouldn't refund the difference and that it was already being worked on. I went out to see two young men standing at the back of my car, but not having done anything but remove the tape. I pointed out that the car was already dry, so there was no point in pretending to dry it now, got in and left. For $7, they lost a repeat customer.
