With our shopping day complete, it was time to head back home. But before we started our two hour…read moreroad trip I needed to find a place to use the facilities and grab a refreshment. Being nearby at the mall, it was a natural thing to do to make a Sheetz run. It was starting to get a bit mucky outside with the snow starting to fall so we made quick work of our stop. After I parked, I made my way to the facilities. Nice and clean, everything in working order. After the pit stop, grabbed a drink from the cooler and made my way to the register. If I didn't need something from behind the counter this would have been a quicker stop as I would have used the self checkouts. But I had to wait for a minute here. As I approached the counter the person working behind seemed to make a b-line away from it. I thought this was odd, but I mean I had to wait regardless as I can't go behind the counter and grab what I want. The wait kept getting longer and longer until one of the staff that was prepping food notice a line starting to form. She let us know that he would be right back. She was wrong, he never came back. Instead someone else came to ring myself and everyone else behind me out. It was so odd that the person working the register just left, right after we made eye contact. Like you saw me, deliberately turned away, and never returned. Odd.

What a relief it was to see this on my travels. Before the holidays, my brother and I decided to…read moremake a trip to finish up our shopping. We decided that we were going to head to the outlets and started heading that way from the homestead. Having stopped earlier in the trip to refresh, it was time to use the facilities. I was near bursting point and was hoping to see one of the many Pennsylvania gas stations that are attempting to outdo one another. I didn't care which one we came upon first, but I needed it right then and there. This was the first one that we saw that was on the road and we knew would have restrooms to use that would be sufficient clean. Both were true. This location is of the newer variety GetGos out there. It's bright, clean, organized and stocked full of easy to grab items. Made our way through the store portion of the place to the facilities, also clean. Before leaving we decided to stretch our legs a bit and prep ourselves for the upcoming long, cold walk through the outlets. We browsed the shelves a bit, but decided not to grab anything to snack on as it would be pointless. We then went out and walked about the lot for a bit. Then we were on our way again. This still feels fairly new. As you can see evidence of that on the lot boundaries. Entrance and exits for this place are fairly easy. Especially since the one side street is at a traffic light.
