With our shopping day complete, it was time to head back home. But before we started our two hour…read moreroad trip I needed to find a place to use the facilities and grab a refreshment. Being nearby at the mall, it was a natural thing to do to make a Sheetz run. It was starting to get a bit mucky outside with the snow starting to fall so we made quick work of our stop. After I parked, I made my way to the facilities. Nice and clean, everything in working order. After the pit stop, grabbed a drink from the cooler and made my way to the register. If I didn't need something from behind the counter this would have been a quicker stop as I would have used the self checkouts. But I had to wait for a minute here. As I approached the counter the person working behind seemed to make a b-line away from it. I thought this was odd, but I mean I had to wait regardless as I can't go behind the counter and grab what I want. The wait kept getting longer and longer until one of the staff that was prepping food notice a line starting to form. She let us know that he would be right back. She was wrong, he never came back. Instead someone else came to ring myself and everyone else behind me out. It was so odd that the person working the register just left, right after we made eye contact. Like you saw me, deliberately turned away, and never returned. Odd.

Zach was the employee to take my food back and every time I ask him to remake something he acts so personally offended and throws the reorder across the counter at me. It's ridiculous to see one person working hard and the rest of the workers standing around talking about their favorite tv shows! The floor is constantly dirty and the kitchen is always a disaster! I think the Brat for $2.99 is a little expensive for what you get but it's nice to be able to sit in the dining area and watch TB while you eat. There pretty much a one stop shop when you travel food and gas. I really like that the place is well lit at night so you always feel safe.
