As we pulled up to get out of the weather, the tornado sirens and emergency alert on our phones telling us tornado in area. I grabbed 2 of my grandchildren and ran to the building. The doors were locked and the clerk was looking at us and telling us no. I am holding my 2 grandsons in the rain and hail...she then comes to the door, told us they are closed and seeking shelter in the coolers. Turned and left us outside. It was such a helpless feeling. But a shout out to Dollar General market who let us ride out the storm safely with them. I will not be going back to this gas station and have told others of our experience as well.

We visited on a Friday after lunch and it was not very busy. The asiles looked to be stocked nicely, the store was clean, and they had a large variety of merchandise. While it is a smaller store, their products are curated to contain no artificial preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, and added MSG. They have foods ranging from produce, meat, dairy, grocery, drinks, vitamin, and candy. We just got some gum and lip balm for the road while traveling. Service was fine and the prices seemed normal for this type of store (a little higher than a regular grocery store). It was a cute shop and nice way to spent our Friday afternoon.
