I met Mechanic Omar and he was so nice, he gave me a quick opinion, but said he needed to look at it further. He said putting some oil in it may help, and he just charged me for the oil, and didn't charge anything else additional. (That was a surprise to me considering that area of Brickell is so pricey!) So I went back the next day, left my car, and Omar called back a few hours later with his diagnosis, just needed a new oil filter (my oil filter was leaky) and he replaced the oil. This was all done for around $32. Standard price for an oil change, but I was expecting the repair cost going into a mechanic to be a lot more. I was very thankful to have an honest and friendly mechanic service my car. If you work or live in Brickell and need a basic car repair, give it a shot.
