I met Mechanic Omar and he was so nice, he gave me a quick opinion, but said he needed to look at it further. He said putting some oil in it may help, and he just charged me for the oil, and didn't charge anything else additional. (That was a surprise to me considering that area of Brickell is so pricey!) So I went back the next day, left my car, and Omar called back a few hours later with his diagnosis, just needed a new oil filter (my oil filter was leaky) and he replaced the oil. This was all done for around $32. Standard price for an oil change, but I was expecting the repair cost going into a mechanic to be a lot more. I was very thankful to have an honest and friendly mechanic service my car. If you work or live in Brickell and need a basic car repair, give it a shot. I'm sure service here will be better and cheaper than any of the car lots in the area.

For simple food and drink items, it wouldn't be completely necessary to stop here unless fuel was a required purchase on your list of needs. For beach days, it's a pretty decent score since you can pack your cooler without stress by the air pump section in peace knowing you'll have some cold ones by the time you hit the sand. It's overpriced but quite often required for the unprepared masses who arrive to SoBe witHout fuel or snacks and still expect to be catered to.
