Our son Caleb had ran out of formula and I went out to get some. CVS was closed, the grocery stores were closed. I knew they wouldn't have it so I stopped anyways. One of the owners was in there, real sweet lady. I asked her "you don't happen to sell any baby formula?" She said "no." As I was walking out the door, dreading heading to Hendersonville or Spartanburg; she asked "does your baby need formula?" I told her "yes, we just ran out." Anyways she went outside to her vehicle and gave me two cans of formula and wouldn't take anything for them. From that point on I was sold. Those are the kind of people I want to give my business. I'll never forget it, and I'll always be grateful for her random act of kindness

The first time it was not....sidenote: I talked to a trucker there who had a burger and he said he really wasn't all that impressed with it.

At first I doubted the listing, since the price was a good 40 cents per gallon lower than other stations we passed. But sure enough, when I pulled off the highway, the sign confirmed it: $2.49 a gallon. QuikTrip also offers an additional 10 cents off per gallon if you pay through their app. That discount requires linking a checking account, which I prefer not to do, but even without it the posted price was excellent. The station itself was easy to access from the highway, with plenty of pumps and a clean, well-lit lot. Inside, the convenience store was tidy and well-kept, and Mrs. K. reported the ladies room was in good shape. Adding to the impression of cleanliness, a small robot was making its rounds on a cleaning patrol. For travelers watching their budget, this stop is a welcome surprise.
