You can pay at the pump and beat it, which is a necessity these days. Apply and G Pay accepted to avoid any potential skimming risk. My only minor compliant is this gas station can be very busy. So busy you may need to wait for a pump to come open, or screw it and go on down the road.

Right off I40…read more - Rural area so you are not fighting traffic to pull in or to leave - You can pay at the pump - The store has the basics (drinks, snacks, etc.) - 3 rows of pumps so it is rare to have to wait to get gas - No bums hanging around asking for money - Diesel fuel available The Bad - The new Davie High School is right down the road so may want to avoid during peak school traffic - A few cents higher per gallon of gas, compared to gas stations right down the road (either direction) with competition - They don't really have prepared food if you are hungry for a sandwich or some cooked meal - Parking lot needs to be repaved. Lots of pot holes and patches. If you just want to get gas quickly, good place to stop.

In the middle of the conversation, the owner came out and told me to leave the property. He stated that "the insurance company had gotten on to him about people in the parking lot." I've been a customer at that business for over thirty years and I had just conducted business at their ATM.... I wasn't loitering or selling drugs. My phone conversation took less than ten minutes but by the time it was over, he was yelling at me to leave. I won't ever darken their doorstep again and I will encourage my family and friends to do the same.

It is an extension of the Harris Teeter grocery store in the same strip mall. Good - You can pay at the pump - You save 3 cents per gallon if you scan your Harris Teeter VIC card - Relatively easy to get in and out. Note, turning left on to 158 can be dicey during busy traffic times. - You can purchase drinks, ice and other items from the small manned store - They have non-ethanol gas for sale, but it is a lot higher per gallon - Exit use to be a gas station desert so this is a welcome addition FYI - If you have your VIC card on your phone, it can be tricky to get it to scan at the pump.
