I ran out of propane, so I drove to the Zip Trip for a fill-up. One of the employees was parked in front of the tank, so I could not even get to it. When I went inside to get someone to come operate the thing and fill my tank, I was informed by the two ladies at the counter that they did not know how to do it. They said that I would have to drive four miles up the road to Columbia Heights. As I was getting ready to pull away, another gal came out of the store carrying a clipboard. She walked over to the propane tank to read the meter. When I asked if SHE could operate the thing, she said no. She suggested that I come back after 4:00 when Michelle would be working as she was the only one on staff that knew what she was doing. When I told her that was not going to happen, she directed me three miles the other direction to Corum. It is really a tragedy that they offer this service, but then have only one person on staff who can perform said service. That person cannot be there 24 hours a day. Somebody needs to get it together here.

I appreciated this one had so many entrances from the surrounding roads. It made arriving and departing east. Many pumps available. Trash cans were well maintained (not overflowing) and the windshield washing buckets full. I didn't venture inside as the pay-at-the-pump option worked spectacularly.
