They take your prescription and tell you when it will be ready. When you go pick it up they tell you they are out of stock. If they can text your prescription is ready they can certainly text there is a delay. I've run out of meds for myself and dogs because they can't seem to keep meds in stock. Why is that? Not one pharmacy employee is able to tell me. I am doing my best to find an alternative pharmacy, but they are the only pharmacy in our area that carries my dog's med. I am calling my vet on Monday and changing meds I hope, but I will not be using Walgreens for my dog or my self anymore!

I never received a call/alert that it was ready, so I did not return until yesterday. Young lady at the window informed me that no meds were ready & asked if I were sure it was this location. I told her that it was her that I gave it to, and that she had instructed me & young man in pickup in next aisle "to wait so they could check if they had meds". She then instructed me to go inside, in which I had to explain situation to 3 individuals, including a manager. All telling me that I had no meds ready & that I got scripts filled at the Ellerbe Rd location. I had just had 3 scripts refilled at this location after last visit to MD about 2 wks ago. I was asked to retrieve another or have MD office call it in. I asked if someone would answer the phone, because that's the reason I had to get a hard script. I then asked how they could lose a script. As I stood waiting to speak with manager, I could see how the workers could be easily distracted, loudly talking about everything but the job. An older man standing in the work area (not sure what his job was) jokingly told them that they were being too loud. I was treated as if I were delusional. I wonder if I had been treated better if I had gone in wearing my scrubs that day. I'm sure they would have told me the video cameras footage does not go back that far or something, if I had pushed the issue. They are rude & unprofessional. You can never get a refill by waiting or even the same day. Instead, they order the medications, which come a few days later. They are supposed to text you when ready, but often I didn't hear anything back. And it is nearly impossible to get through the automated phone system to get an actual human pharmacy worker on the phone to check on a missing prescription. They auto refill things I don't need yet: I am swimming in nitroglycerin, which I rarely use. Yet, I never got a heart medication needed to lower cholesterol & triglycerides, help prevent clotting/reduce the chance of another heart attack/more stents/bypass, even after my insurance company called them to say it was approved. They said it was backordered from the supplier--for weeks. I took it across the street to a different pharmacy and got it the next day. Another annoying thing: The phone "bot" would say i had a script that was ready to be filled, but not say what it was. If I answered yes, fill it, the AI bot would then say it was too soon, that they would need to contact my provider. This happened every time I called. I think the workers are trying their best, but the system is flawed. I do not recommend this pharmacy.
