I'm…read morenever sad to see a Sheetz and with me getting into town a bit earlier than I expected it was a welcome place to kill some time. With this being a new location it has the current Sheetz them with the canopy over the pumps having that slanted look. Newer building complete with a drive thru. When looking at this place, you know they knew what they were doing. Go back through street view on Google and you will see that this spot was a competitor's gas station. They just moved in, razed it, and built brand new. And with the proximity to the mall (meh) and VA hospital, they really knew that there would be a constant stream of customers coming and going. Inside, I went to use the facilities, super clean, and attempted to grab an iced tea only to find that they switched the way they dispense it now. Have I really been gone that long for them to switch to a system that isn't just fresh brewed tea and sugar? I guess so. I ended up getting some bottled water and snacks anyway, as this is my usual order of things to do when I come into town. Nice spot and it is always busy.

Occasionally he will purchase dog treats for what has become more of a house mascot than a pet: a pug-jack-Russel-chihuahua (and quite a handful) named Mocha. He has noted when shopping in a grocery store, that dog treats aren't nearly as expensive as The Valero had made him think He has also bought his fair-share of over-priced toilet paper, candy, and gallon jugs of what I like to call Diabetea. That's the giant gallon jugs of Ice Tea, which are mostly just sugar and brown food dye. It may not be the best gas station in the area, but it is the only one on our street. So in a way both my fat roommate who wears the robe and I are indebted to it. But indebted in the way one is to a Loan Shark.

After driving from Philadelphia and getting ready to go to Binghamton, NY to meet friends for lunch, the tank needed filling. I paid at the pump and didn't need to go inside go it was a quick in and out. The fact that it was 6:30 AM also helped. There was little traffic and I was soon on my way north.
