We finally bought some of Bruce's amazing art ! I've been fallowing them for a few years now collecting pieces from each of my favorite artists, like Tom Ku'alii and Bruce Ormi. I can't wait to go home and hang this beautiful art ! When I return again I hope to buy a large piece for my accent wall. Thank you again I really appreciate your fine art and passion. Keep doing what you do ! Mahalo

I think in order to see Hawaii beyond beaches and resort, one has to spend the time exploring all amazing areas of this gorgeous island with a local. I have never met anyone who is more genuine, down to earth and humble than Bruce and Tom from Extreme Exposures. Their gallery is simply stunning - full of prints, calendars right next to incredible art they do on acrylic or metal. You have never seen lava presented in a more stunning way that these guys capture at times risking their lives. They also offer tours and will give you more intimate experience of Hawaii. And that should be # 1 on your list. I promise , it will be one of the best memories of your life!

Moonlit Kalapana Coast! Once we get the lighting it will be perfect!

As a local played tourists in downtown Hilo. We always thought most of the shops are geared toward tourists. But this particular shop caught my eye a few times. I was impressed with the quality of work done by Tom and Bruce. I bought one of their showcase items that caught my eye since I 1st walked in the door which is called Moonlit Kalapana Coast taken by Tom Kuali'i. I just had to get that piece for our kitchen. Bruce gave us an awesome deal we couldn't refuse and I gottah say its the perfect fit for our kitchen. 1st piece bought from this gallery and diff not the last! Tom and Bruce & wife are awesome people with Aloha! We will be back!

The most amazing metallic volcano prints by local artists like Bruce Omori. The volcano shots are truly awe inspiring. I also like his metal prints of the small elusive Hawaiian birds. Some of Bruce's photos have even made it to the Smithsonian

Captured at 4am in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park with Brice Omori.

Amazing art, definitely worth stopping in. Really captures the beauty of the volcano (and images from the 2018 eruption) and sea life.

I was so enamored by it that I forgot to take pictures! So many great products for the local witches or curious peeps wanting to see what a spiritual store offers. I got a great Oracle deck and I'm so happy about and a tincture made locally. My friends aren't too much into stores like this but loved it because of the cafe and being able to sit at the end of the store with a great atmosphere and great way they decorated the store, you can appreciate it!! I highly recommend to visitors and locals living in the area. They had a great selection of cards, art pieces and value. The owner of the store is very sweet and willing to help with any questions you have !

#25 for 2018 Walking…read moreinto Tanglewood is a stepping into a mystical world of wonder. First, Harry and Mouse, that's right a Mouse lives here. They are the most wonderous people you can meet with an interesting history of succesfull businesses from bakery to computer technology. Harry applies his grasp of physics and technology to the camera producing incredible art. You can see the love and feel the passion in each piece displayed. Self taught he has learned quickly his craft. I am always amazed and excited to see what he does next. When you reach the property, you walk through a gate to be greeted by Little, their not so little dog. To the right is their working studio doubling as their gallery. There are small prints to large prints. And, can go larger if you so desired. Mouse custom frames each masterpiece to perfection. It is a working studio. You may see where Mouse builds the frames. She may be putting the canvas onto the frames, stretching it. A few computers showing galleries of gorgeous pictures Harry is working on. A commercial printer to handle their work load, and large prints. It is easy to see Harry loves shooting the stars, waves and volcano. His shots of the milky way are breath taking. The volcano shooting clouds of lava and smoke are just incredible. The strength of the waves blanketed by the stars in the same frame, astounding. Please go see for yourself. Tanglewood is open every weekend. One Saturday a month, they have a potluck when all photographers are invited to join in a Saturday of sharing. Harry is willing to share not holding anything back. That makes him special when often information is protected like a secret. You can find his work on Amazon, through select stores and always in their home, Tanglewood Gallery. An interior designer is available. You can talk to Harry about that if that is a service you need. Note: Mouse is famous for creating scrap cookies out of Colorado so many years back. Many have tried to copy, imitate but her's is still #1. The story behind that is very interesting but that's best heard from her when you visit.
