Great place and amazing games! We had the best service they went above and beyond helping our group of 10. I accidentally purchased not realizing that same day instead of in-advance date and they made a curtesy call asking about us going before I realized what I had done. Thanks to good honest people we were rendered another day and transferred our appointments. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING US SUCH GREAT MEMORIES!

It was about a 12-minute drive from the Extreme Escape Colonnade location to their Stone Oak location and it's quite a different scenery here. Stone Oak location is inside a shopping complex and it can be easily seen on the second floor as they occupy pretty much the whole space up there. There's plenty of parking. The lobby is lot more spacious here. You can choose to sit on the comfortable couches or the torture chair while sipping away your cold beverage (beer and wine complimentary to adults!). In this location we tried "The Cursed" room. As ESCAPETHEROOMers ventured into a cabin in the woods, we realized this is not a normal cabin. The witch has put an evil spell and captured our souls. We must reverse the spell and escape! There are definitely a few "jumpy" moments in the room where we thought the "witch" was coming for us, but rest assured there are no live actors in this room. This is when you know the special effects of the lighting, sound, and smoke are utilized just right. Although we definitely heard a lot more screaming coming from the room next door so we're very curious as to what lies on "The Other Side" (another theme room at this location). The room was very well designed and things that aren't supposed to move are bolted down so there's not a lot of red herrings. Everything that was movable was utilized once. You really can tell the props used are very true to the storyline. There was a puzzle that took a bit more time as it had to be really precise and it was a bit sensitive. You really needed to have great eye and hand coordination for one of the puzzles. One thing we realized in both rooms that we've tried with Extreme Escape is that we were able to get out with ample time left with just the two of us. We love to see some more intricate puzzles that perhaps would be a it more challenging for experienced players in the future. We did see one puzzle use that was similar to the one we did in the "Undead" room at the Colonnade location. Overall, we had a lot of fun in this room and that's an important aspect when coming out from an escape room. *For more info, check out my Yelp profile.

I came to this location with a bunch of military friends because of an add that said free military Mondays. We asked the ticket clerk about it and she wasn't familiar with it. Which is upsetting, since it's on the website. Another guy came out and told us that they do have the offer but only one person out of the group can get in for free. Which this was unfair to everybody in the group. However, the escape room was pretty well set up. We did one of the escape rooms and had a good time. Although it was pretty hard, it had a total of 3 rooms in one game.

It was enjoyable (and as far as I know, it's San Antonio's only cat-themed escape room), but a few observations: - Instructions on how to operate the hacked Simon Says would have been useful (press center button, wait for lights to all flash three times, THEN punch in the correct sequence) - This escape room is pretty light on content - it has fewer puzzles than most escape rooms I've tried. That isn't to say it's easy. Kids will definitely need adult help. But there's only so much to do. This room is likely best for a group of 2-3 people, maybe 4. - Be observant and detail oriented!

Well, I'm from Orlando, which I swear is the escape room capital of the world. There are 1,000,000 of them by the parks. I've done a few in San Antonio and recently did one here (the 90s room). It was okay. We had to ask for a clue which we didn't have to do for the last 8-10 escape rooms...so it wasn't too easy...but it was just very...plain. The room is a 90s bedroom, the puzzles are all locks and keys...there just wasn't the same production quality or interesting puzzles put into it. Maybe it was the theme and the other rooms are better...but it was...not boring...but plain. Just very plain. Also, I wouldn't say I was offended by this...BUT...they advertise themselves as family friendly. Which is fine either way. BUT if you do that...probably should not have curse words in the music playing in the room or an entire puzzle that is basically one long masturbation joke. Thankfully my wife explained it to my 7 year old son better than I could and in a sort of age appropriate way (as in she left out a bunch of the thought behind it). Again, not offended, but certainly unexpected considering how they position themselves.

This year I decided to finally book an event for a birthday party. I booked the karaoke room for 20 people on a Sunday. My guests and I had a great time doing the karaoke and looking around the venue as they have so much to offer. When booking I would suggest asking if they are having any other events around the same time so you can know what the space will be like when you are there. I booked on a Sunday from 6-8 and it was empty except for my party and it was great. The event coordinator I spoke to on the phone was very helpful with questions that we had. David who was working the bar and helping me check in was awesome and so helpful. I will say from the outside this venue does look a little shady, many of my guest had trouble finding the right entrance but they all gave compliments when indoors, as this place has so much cool stuff once inside. I do wish I was told that the restaurant and food they offered was not going to be open during my party, as they were not open when my party was there. If you are looking for a place to karaoke with a large group Uncharted adventures does have great pricing compared to most karaoke rooms offered in San Antonio at about 1/3 of the price.
