Rare find....wonderful experience! Ok, it's only storage, right? Many people, like me, need it when…read moremoving....which can be a stressful time. 1st, I actually reserved a unit online... it's a very tight market and not many storage units available. I selected a larger size, but a smaller one populated when I went to reserve. I knew this meant they only had the smaller one available. I quickly reserved for a $25 fee which they use for the first month's rent. I'm swamped the next day and forget to call, but no worries as they called me! Folksy, down home type of people.....family owned business....love that! THEY CARE!!! We quickly set it up and they emailed me documents. I went in the next day and signed and set up recurring payment. Good value for the price. So, you walk in to a like new facility....looks like they renovated or built this recently. And the kindness and folksiness continues....they make you so at ease. Weeks later they even asked about my 85 yo mom....they remembered! The process was a breeze. They walk you to your unit and tell you additional details. Very clean, like I said, like new or it is new. I need a larger space and they stay in contact with me. They just called me yesterday with an available unit....they are on top of things! By the way, good access too to my drive up unit....good hours. This company is the best of the best in business and how a company should be run, but many times isn't....especially small family owned businesses. Keep up the good work! I had a deeply concerning experience with the security practices at this storage facility…read more Recently the facility experienced a burglary and I was contacted by local police because the facility initially suggested that my access code may have been used to enter the property. After reviewing their own logs more closely, the facility later confirmed that my code was not used and that another code had actually opened the gate. What is troubling is what happened next. Even after determining which access code was used during the burglary, the facility has continued to leave that code active more than 20 days after the incident. No remediation has been taken to disable or reset the compromised credential. From a basic security standpoint this makes very little sense. When a breach occurs and a specific credential is involved, standard practice would be to immediately disable or rotate that access method. Leaving it active creates an obvious ongoing vulnerability for every tenant storing property there. The facility advertises itself as secure, but in my experience the response to a known breach raises serious concerns about how access control and tenant security are actually handled. If you are storing valuables here, I strongly recommend asking management how they handle compromised gate codes after a security incident.

Prime Storage also has carts to help with unloading or loading items in to our storage unit. Safety is another great piece we are pleased with. They have cameras so I know my items in the unit are safe and we feel safe when we are in and out of the unit. Prime Storage has fantastic customer service as we always find the staff a pleasure to speak with. Eric has been so helpful anytime we have connected with questions. This year it's going up 25%. Feels excessive and like a bait and switch model since once you have your stuff there, you are a captive audience unless you go to the time and effort to move. In addition, they have moved to electronic locks which I resent since it's another app on my phone/with my info and if the power is out, then what? Anywho, if you are ok with the increases and electric locks, they are great.

I have continued to call and been told that the bookkeeper should have had it out by now and then it never comes. This is for 2 units and so nearly $300 that I am trying to recover. I would not recommend storing your things here, there are enough other places to choose from. The other consideration is the limited access, when you have a big move and are strapped for time, getting locked out at 8pm is a pain.
