The facility is secured by a gate and should our daughter ever have to go on her own, we know she will be in a safe environment. In addition, the facility (on 24th ave) is absolutely spotless and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Steve Shilling, the manager, always goes over and beyond to help us out! The Storage Center lists their origin as "Established in 2021", which is true to the sale of the facility. Originally this establishment was locally owned and operated as Shepherd Self Storage. I never had any issue with Shepherd Self Storage. Since The Storage Center took over operation of the facility service has declined and the cost of my unit has gone from $70/month to $132/month. My unit has been broken into twice since 2021. The lanes between the buildings are narrow and frequently blocked by other tenants accessing their units. There are lots of other places out there and I wouldn't recommend The Storage Center.
