They came out quickly to estimate and they talked a big game saying I would get "level 5" service…read moreand assured me they were the best and could get it done quickly. Then 3 days later they suddenly were too "nervous" to do the job and bailed. This was a simple curved wall. I gave them the manufacturers very detailed directions and I even told them if it still cracked for whatever reason I wouldn't hold them responsible. I was on a tight schedule and needed them to follow through. Still, they wouldn't do it, despite originally saying it was no problem. The 3 day delay affected me a great deal and I had to find someone else in a panic. The new company I found, Johnson Drywall, did the job quick and saved me...and they didn't even flinch at the project.

We had an excellent experience with Bob as we had a WW2-era home inspected in the Austell area…read more I called him on a Tuesday around 4pm and he was able to schedule us for an inspection on Wednesday at 10am. As anyone knows during due diligence, time is of the essence, so we were very happy that he was able to work with us so quickly. We met him at the property and he proceeded to walk us around and throughout the house for about 3 hours (for a ~1200 sqft home). He obviously knows his stuff in further detail than we understood but also took the time to explain things in layman's terms and answer any questions at all that we had. We had requested a radon test (which was an additional fee), but after he discovered an open chimney that would have rendered the test inaccurate, he waived the fee and put away the equipment. He could have just as easily done the test and made extra money without us knowing, but he didn't, and that spoke volumes about his character. Best of all, Bob simply delivered the facts - no pressuring one way or another. He looked at the house without rose-tinted glasses and without fear-mongering. In the end it felt like he left the ball squarely in our court on whether or not to move forward, a decision which we now feel informed enough to make. In less than 24 hours after inspection, I had his full report in my inbox. The categories were prioritized from highest to lowest importance which helped us understand what issues were and were not urgent. It included his photos along with detailed explanations of everything we talked about and then some. All in all, we felt like Bob did a thorough and high-quality job. His expertise and reputation preceded him from previous reviews and I am happy to add to that list of satisfied customers. If necessary, we hope to work with Bob in the future and I would warmly recommend Trow Inspection Service to anyone.

Unprofessional and Defective Workmanship - Beware…read more I hired Gelato Contracting / Premiere Landscaping (Edgar Rivera) to install a concrete patio at my home in Atlanta. The project, which was supposed to take two days, has dragged on for over 60 days due to serious defects in workmanship. The patio shows discoloration, cracking, and even workers' footprints embedded in the concrete. Despite repeated communication, Edgar has failed to take responsibility or offer a meaningful solution. He has promised 50% reimbursement multiple times but never follows through. No written warranty was provided, and the original invoice has disappeared from Yelp. Georgia law requires a warranty for projects over $2,500--this was ignored. I've formally requested a refund and given a deadline before pursuing legal action to recover my full payment and damages.
