She even gave us false information and when I provided her with the right answer she gave me attitude in front of the whole class, only to be corrected by the headmaster the next day and not apologize to me. Under different circumstances I wouldn't care much to have to deal with Holly treating us like middle schoolers the entire course, but I paid over $2,000 for this course; in the least they could have competent professors.

The theory portion of the class was fast and somewhat vague at times but it all made sense once we got to the skilled nursing facility for our clinicals. My instructor was on the floor with us everyday during clinicals. The first day was a bit overwhelming but over time, I felt very comfortable interacting with patients and performing skills. By the end of the clinicals, my classmates and I felt more than prepared for our test. We were lucky that our state exam was scheduled the day after we officially finished the course. Everyone in my class passed!! Shoutout Ms. Lauren for being the best instructor!! I started giving blood last year and I continue to do so. The entire experience has been rewarding…read more I feel good that my blood may be able to save a life. The Red Cross website is one of the best out there. It is easy to make an appointment after gathering your data. I go to NCSD locations;. Carlsbad Mall and Lake San Marcos. The check in process on site is efficient. The site plays different. styles of music to keep things flowing. You complete an intake and prick test to check your blood before being assigned to a table. There is usually a team of 5 to 7 on site. Once you complete intake you are assigned a red cross team member. They are the one to take your blood, it takes approximately 6 minutes to complete. Upon completion of blood being taken, a team member may bring you snacks or guide you to a snack table to replenish; to prevent nausea and dizziness. The Red Cross often has an incentive;; usually a gift card or logo item. I love my beanie from the winter donation and my beach towel from the spring donation. It has been a positive experience from beginning to end. I hope you give blood too. It is a good feeling. #RedCross #DonateBlood #GoodFeeling #SanDiego
