I am new to the area and I need to get my BLS certification to continue my study and career. I found the place through google search and Yelp. I didn't know what to expect when I came in but the experience was wonderful. Daryl, the instructor was very friendly, knowledgable and he made the class fun. I learned a lot and I feel that I will be able to apply those skills in real life. We had a small class (6 people, me included) with various background and experience, some were more than others but we are friendly and helpful to each other. If you're doing something wrong, they will correct you constructively. I will definitely be back for the IV/Phlebotomy course. read more

Daryl, the instructor for the BLS for Healthcare Providers class was an awesome teacher!! Very easy to sign up for a class time online. The classroom is very bright and clean and there are snacks and coffee provided. The mannequins used for CPR are new and have visual feedback so you can see if you are doing your compressions and breaths correctly. Daryl is very warm and funny and made the classroom environment comfortable. His guidance on perfecting our form was detailed and encouraging. Extra points for referencing the CPR scene from The Office :) Everyone and anyone should take this class to learn CPR and AED use, healthcare provider or not. read more

I took the PALS course and CPR course with Jason. The class was awesome, he was an excellent instructor. He made things very easy to understand and very logical. I also learned some new acronyms that will definitely help in our office setting. The class had a great student to instructor ratio. Great Class with Veronica today for CAB Recert. Good combo with Video and practicum. Manikins were clean, though some were well used and had to really "squish down." Really low stress which was great for me since I remember the "old days when it was made to be a "frightful, and stressful experience." Some of the test questions are poorly worded, and should be redone to be more of a learning experience; which is the whole point of this course. So I had my second ACLS class at this location. First time was dreadful, I walked out of there feeling extremely frustrated and humIliated because of the instructor. I dreaded going in the second time but I had a different instructor named Ahmed and he was AMAZING! He was funny, knowledgeable and never made you feel like you are stupid for not knowing the answer. He was helpful and guided us through every scenario and made us really think. Not only I enjoyed his class butt appreciated the way he taught this class. If you get nervous and anxiety gets the best of you like I do, you should sign up with Ahmed. Highly recommend his class!!!!! read more

As a travel RN I was told I needed acls the day before I started my assignment. You can imagine the sheer panic and scrambling I had to do. Luckily for me, Expresstraining offered an accelerated online course. When it came time to take my skills exam , dave was extremely helpful in accomodating my schedule and availability. I did my skills testing for the hybrid class today with Chris. Facility was clean, organized, and easy to find. Chris was great to work with; he was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. I was the only person testing today so it went pretty quickly, I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend the hybrid format if you have taken a class in the past and would highly recommend taking it at this location with Chris. I will be back for my ACLS soon. read more

I was beyond nervous to take this training but I soon as I walked in The instructor greeted me they offered water coffee. The instructor was very easy to understand gave great examples and scenarios the video it was very people friendly hands on made me feel very comfortable. My Instructor Daryl was very relaxed and chill and funny and gives you insight on how you can improve your chest compression. This class is taught by a great instrutor who has a passion for this and loves his job so much better than my old teacher.. there are also snacks for you to munch on anytime.
