Express training solutions made my BLS class fun and easy to understand. Daryl did an awesome job keeping me engaged during the lecture. Practicing with the manikins was a lot of fun and they had lights that helped you know if you were doing the compressions correctly. I've taken other classes where the manikins didn't tell you if the compressions were hard enough or if you were going fast enough. I've taken other CPR classes and this one is the best so far. The classroom setting had a/c, coffee and snacks. The instructor, Daryl, did a great job of preparing me for the test.

What a great class! I enrolled in the BLS class (Basic Life Support) because the non health care profession cpr class was a different date and time I could not make. I was a little apprehensive as I have never taken a cpr class but it went by fast and very detailed! Daryl was a great instructor and really communicated with us and made light hearted jokes throughout class! The test at the end was easy and Daryl really made a point to let you know what was important to remember. Another thing I loved, is that Daryl offered the class to come back for free training if you wanted more practice. As long as a class he is teaching has room he said we could come back. That is such an awesome gesture! There was coffee and snacks too and at the end Daryl passed us little cards for reminders of renewal dates we could write in and also a 20% off code for any classes after this and it never expires! I would def. come back again!!!

I needed to get CPR and AED certification for my job, and I needed it ASAP since I suck at being an adult and doing things on time. So I fell upon this place through google/yelp. They have many classes as well as times and format of the classes. I choose a fast track class that allows you to do all your "book work" online and then go in for a. 1 on 1 skills testing. The online module didn't take long and was super easy to use. My trainer was Veronica and she was phenomenal. She made me feel comfortable and never made me second guess myself. She took her time to explain things and was super patient with me. I will definitely be coming back to this place for any further classes. The location is easy to find and the classroom had everything you needed to fully understand your course. Definitely a good spot to come and get trained. I am new to the area and I need to get my BLS certification to continue my study and career. I found the place through google search and Yelp. I didn't know what to expect when I came in but the experience was wonderful. Daryl, the instructor was very friendly, knowledgable and he made the class fun. I learned a lot and I feel that I will be able to apply those skills in real life. We had a small class (6 people, me included) with various background and experience, some were more than others but we are friendly and helpful to each other. If you're doing something wrong, they will correct you constructively. I will definitely be back for the IV/Phlebotomy course. read more

Daryl, the instructor for the BLS for Healthcare Providers class was an awesome teacher!! Very easy to sign up for a class time online. The classroom is very bright and clean and there are snacks and coffee provided. The mannequins used for CPR are new and have visual feedback so you can see if you are doing your compressions and breaths correctly. Daryl is very warm and funny and made the classroom environment comfortable. His guidance on perfecting our form was detailed and encouraging. Extra points for referencing the CPR scene from The Office :) Everyone and anyone should take this class to learn CPR and AED use, healthcare provider or not. read more

I took the PALS course and CPR course with Jason. The class was awesome, he was an excellent instructor. He made things very easy to understand and very logical. I also learned some new acronyms that will definitely help in our office setting. The class had a great student to instructor ratio. Great Class with Veronica today for CAB Recert. Good combo with Video and practicum. Manikins were clean, though some were well used and had to really "squish down." Really low stress which was great for me since I remember the "old days when it was made to be a "frightful, and stressful experience." Some of the test questions are poorly worded, and should be redone to be more of a learning experience; which is the whole point of this course. So I had my second ACLS class at this location. First time was dreadful, I walked out of there feeling extremely frustrated and humIliated because of the instructor. I dreaded going in the second time but I had a different instructor named Ahmed and he was AMAZING! He was funny, knowledgeable and never made you feel like you are stupid for not knowing the answer. He was helpful and guided us through every scenario and made us really think. Not only I enjoyed his class butt appreciated the way he taught this class. If you get nervous and anxiety gets the best of you like I do, you should sign up with Ahmed. Highly recommend his class!!!!! read more

I needed to renew my CPR card and I found express training solutions via Google and they had a CPR class that was close and in the time frame I needed.. Daryl was great and very professional and enthusiastic and made the class less monotonous.. They also have snacks, coffee and water.. I reccomend them for BLS or CPR they also teach ACLS and PALS if you need it :) read more

Thank God for this place! I was able to test-out and renew my BLS in about 30 minutes! Daryl was my instructor. He was very kind, personable, and knowledgeable. The online sign-up was super easy, plus, I used a promo code and was able to renew for only $45! Can't beat that! Great, convenient location in north county and plenty of classes offered weekly. As a travel RN I was told I needed acls the day before I started my assignment. You can imagine the sheer panic and scrambling I had to do. Luckily for me, Expresstraining offered an accelerated online course. When it came time to take my skills exam , dave was extremely helpful in accomodating my schedule and availability. Ahmed did the testing portion and was very knowledgeable. He taught in an interesting way rather than the same old boring acls material I had learned before. I was beyond nervous to take this training but I soon as I walked in The instructor greeted me they offered water coffee. I did my skills testing for the hybrid class today with Chris. Facility was clean, organized, and easy to find. Chris was great to work with; he was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. I was the only person testing today so it went pretty quickly, I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend the hybrid format if you have taken a class in the past and would highly recommend taking it at this location with Chris. I will be back for my ACLS soon. read more

My Instructor Daryl was very relaxed and chill and funny and gives you insight on how you can improve your chest compression. This class is taught by a great instrutor who has a passion for this and loves his job so much better than my old teacher.. there are also snacks for you to munch on anytime. Needed to find a CPR class last minute for a hospital internship and Express Training SOultions have every time possible that was available. I thought this was too good to be true and it might not be as effective as other classes, but MAN, was I wrong! Daryl taught this class like it was an actual college course and his techniques were very effective, more effective than the CPR class that I took through my CNA class. He even went over things that someone might have not been clear on or were still confused and would even sit there all day until we all understood everything and it was all crystal clear. Will DEFINITELY be going back here to renew my certificate and other certification needs I might have. It is also located directly behind my job and within 5 minutes of my home so it was super convenient! read more

Pros: The teaching staff is very friendly, accommodating, and caring. They accept a lot of different financial aid programs, so our children have been able to attend at very affordable rates. My youngest son is with Miss Ashton in room 3 and she's by far the best teacher he's had. She keeps the schedule exciting and diverse, is very upbeat, uses positive reinforcement and validation, has excellent communication with parents, and works with him individually based on his neurodivergent needs. Cons: There is a good amount of staff turnover, and there have been many occasions (with both of my kids) when I have dropped off or picked them up in a different room than their regular room due to staffing/attendance issues. This can cause stress and anxiety for some children, but can be exciting and a learning opportunity for others. My youngest son also went months without a lead teacher due to turnover. Communication from admin is not great. On one occasion our pickup time was extended and nobody informed us for over a year. Questions surrounding certain funding programs have not been answered. Conflicting and confusing information has been given by multiple staff during 2 large scale emergency situations (COVID with my oldest child and a recent flood causing an extended closure with my youngest). During both of these events, we were told by different staff and admin that our children both would and would not be able to attend. In both situations it seemed that staff and admin were not communicating with one another to deliver a cohesive message, nor was a plan being related to the families. One final note is that there are a good amount of children with neurodivergent and extra social/emotional needs. Since my youngest child is in this category it has allowed him to attend without fear of repercussions for his neurodivergence, but these needs also cause stress on the staff and the other children. Overall this center has provided our family with extremely adorable child care that has been (for the most part) reliable. It is nowhere near a small, individual experience for each child, nor does it focus a lot on kindergarten readiness, but it does offer a safe place for children to go while parents are working, and a lot of experience in social skills and structure for children.

As a new office manager, I was tasked with finding a company that provided CPR/BLS recertification AND was able to come directly to our business. Thankfully, I found Express Training Solutions. From the very first conversation, David Mercado showed why they have such consistently amazing reviews. His customer service was impeccable and he was patient and super responsive with all of our questions. Every single one of the speech therapists said that it was absolutely the BEST training class they had ever participated in. It was fun, very hands-on, and extremely engaging. Practicing with manikins that reflected when you were doing the compressions correctly was extremely helpful! AND, David covered all of the information in a comprehensive way and also completed the class a bit early - a treat on a Friday! I just completed my BLS certification a few days ago at the Oceanside location at College Plaza with Veronica! At first, I was hesitant about signing up for a class online because of frequent scamming, but Express Training Solutions is legit and a very respectable organization. I only have excellent things to say about their safety and sanitary precautions especially with everything going on right now. Despite the mask-wearing and non-ideal meeting circumstances, Veronica provided a welcoming learning environment that quickly made me comfortable with her and with the material at hand. I've been to many training centers over the years to renew various levels of healthcare provider certifications and this place was by far the best. The facility itself was very nice and the instructor, Daryl, was engaging, funny, and kind. These classes can be so dry but he kept us laughing, learning, and interested in the material. The mannequins and mats were all clean and well maintained. The best part is that I received a 20% off one time use coupon for my next class, which is awesome! It will end up saving me $45. I just took a class with Patrick W. and it was honestly the best BLS/CPR class I've ever taken (over about 30 years). Patrick is an excellent teacher. He is very knowledgeable, clear, and efficient with teaching and repeating information. He applied the information to real-world scenarios so well, which was really interesting and helpful. Patrick is also very kind, easy-going, and humorous, which made the class really pleasant. I was quite surprised at how quickly it seemed to finish because I was enjoying it so much. I signed up online to renew my BLS certification through this company. When I arrive I was quickly greeted by my instructor Daryl, who welcomed me and the other students. There was coffee and snacks for us to enjoy during the class. The classroom was clean, materials sufficient, and overall a great experience. It was a very low stress environment and enjoyable. Really enjoyed the CPR class today! My instructor, Matthew, was fantastic, super knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He made the material easy to understand and kept the class from feeling dry or repetitive. CPR courses can sometimes feel long and boring, but not this one.
