To be honest, I don't think this company cares about yelp reviews, but figured I would let others…read moreknow my experience. Mark is a nice guy, fancy office overlooking Dallas. Unfortunately, I felt robbed after he did my taxes last year. I got a bill for 3200 dollars? Really? For a tax return? He gave me a "new customer discount" which was a joke. I'm used to paying 800-1200 for taxes. The bill was filled with "hours" of interns and employees who did work, and "hours" of him checking the work. Really a scam. Maybe a big business or corporation would want to spend that kind of money on a complex tax return. If you are a hard working individual like myself, don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

If you are looking for a partner to help with your accounting needs, this is not the place. When reached out to J Chester & Associates I explained to the firm manager, David Perez, exactly what I was looking for in an accountant. He was happy to take my money, have me fill out a form, then pass me along to others within the firm. I repeatedly requested a phone call with an accountant and was ignored completely. Next thing I know my taxes were filed, without ever speaking to me directly about any deductions I may be entitled to, my small business or any other personal information that may be pertinent.
