However, I have NEVER seen the same Dr or PA in all my visits which has been around 24 visits, they started telling me I had to have injections which I already told them I have already been through all the nerve root burning procedures and I was not a fan of steroid injections in my spinal cord. In August they did one in which I was temporarily paralyzed for about 24 hours I could not walk, I had to have my sister put ice towels on my spine to reduce the swelling. They still pushed me to have 4 more procedures, or they said they would cut me off the narcotics. The last 2 visits I told them the pain pills was not working what else is there, they suggested I get medical marijuana so now after they have charged my insurance over $18,000 for services from a useless back brace that I am supposed to use for no more than 2 hours a day, a neck brace again only wear 2 hours a day. I finally told them I have been puking up the narcotics and I started using edibles from recreational state. They told me last time I went if I don't have enough of oxycodone in my system, they would remove me from the pain meds I said OKAY deal it's not helping anyway. I have discovered it's a Pill Mill they charge your insurance between $8000-$16,000 for medical procedures that you don't need. Don't waste your time unless your just wanting pain pills. After one appointment and being in worse shape than she was initially, she decided she needed to cancel her second appointment. The appointment was for a Tuesday. She called on Monday to cancel the appointment seeing that Saturday and Sunday they were closed. They still took her $75 because they said she could've left a message on the machine on Saturday or Sunday, even though they wouldn't have gotten that message until Monday, same day that she called. Do not go to this place. It's a quack. They do not offer any reasonable or logical solutions to your problems and are in it for obviously just taking the money of hard working and elderly people. I called to speak with the office manager who was rude and didn't listen to anything I had to say and talked over me. All she had to say was is that my mother read the paperwork, signed it and agreed to it. She was very rude and lacking common, customer service skills. Additionally once they think they can't get money from you for any number of reasons they will continously talk over you and refuse to listen to your questions or statements and concerns, and instead will just keep talking louder and at an elevated agitation level. This is very unkind especially to someone who has a long history of anxiety and extreme ptsd. They do not truly care about their patients. They also openly stated they do not follow the states guidelines for seasonal residents and proof of residency. I had a print out from the state of Florida's official MMC website and they just said "well, we don't accept that, it's our corporate policy, I've worked here for 5 years, I know the law better than you" To be honest, I've had better care from a rabies infested rat nest in the middle of the subway in Philadelphia than I received from DocMJ.
