I enrolled my daughter here after this driving school being recommended on a mom group. First class went okay. Tried to book her second class for spring break which is end of March. I called back in February and was told they don't book that far out to try again 3 week prior. So I called today and was told the day I wanted to was already completely booked. I prefer the Fresno location and was told today they have nothing available. Chose this driving school solely because it was in close proximity to my home and the school my daughter goes to. Didn't know what to expect but the few reviews on Yelp were favorable so I opted to give my business to them. Express Learning also sends out text notification reminders a few days prior to your driving instruction so that helps. Initially started with Manuel for the first two lessons then another (whom I did not get their name) then for the last instruction (as I rented a vehicle thru Express) the GOAT of driving instructors, Rafael. Although I have taught my child the basics and kept her up to speed with the current driving climate in Fresno/Clovis, I still had to rely on driving instructors to provide insight on what the DMV will test for her behind the wheel. Rafael filled in the gaps and provided the "old school" way of how to be the good driver that my teen needed to be. My daughter aced her behind the wheel today with zero mistakes! My teenage son had his first lesson today. His lesson was not a full 2 hours of driving, it also included stopping at Dave's hot chicken, going inside and waiting for food, instead of driving. Then he was taught that its ok to eat at red-lights. First time driving and bad habits are already created by the driving instructor. Now I don't know how I'm going to un-ring that bell! How am I now going to teach a teenage boy that it's NOT ok to eat at red lights and its actually considered a distraction while driving??? He's going to argue that his instructor said it was ok. I'm trying to keep my child(and others) safe here while driving and this school has taught him a habit that I probably won't be able to convince him not to do! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Especially to Alex Hernandez who was my instructor after I failed a test at the DMV and coached me kindly and patiently so I passed the retest today. Express Learning is absolutely committed to their students and went to great effort to support me. I want to tell all of you other "older" drivers that their refresher course is well worth the time and money. You, like me, have no idea what bad driving habits you have accumulated as you get older. This driving school is excellent! I guarantee your money will not be wasted if you trust in them. I'm very anxious and slow to pick up stuff, so learning is usually a challenge for me in the early stages. Before finding this driving school, I took lessons from two other top Fresno driving schools, and made very little progress. So glad I found Express Learning! Alex is a patient, kind, and excellent teacher, and within a single lesson, I had already become a 100% more confident and made leaps and strides. Excellent driving school! I used this school as an adult learning to drive for the first time, and I PASSED the drive test on my FIRST try! Both instructors I had were very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We practiced residential driving, driving in business traffic with other cars, and highway driving.
