This place is more expensive than the other driver training companies no doubt. They happened to have a cancellation that worked out with my daughter's schedule that was sooner than the one we had scheduled in Madera. I was a tad bit skeptical but within the first few minutes after meeting Greg I knew it would be worth every penny and then some. Before even leaving the parking lot of our first session I was at ease. Greg did a great job of explaining everything in a way that was simple to understand but didn't talk down on a new driver. All three lessons went off extremely smooth and that lead to my daughter passing her drivers license test on her first attempt. Worth noting to the parents, I sat back every session and listened to keywords that Greg would use while teaching my daughter and then I'd apply them going forward. Safe to say I'll be heading back there in a bit over a year when it's my son's turn. Great service worth every bit the price. read more

John is such a great teacher! He broke down all of the bad advice that my daughter received from other schools and made sure she understood actual principles of safe driving. I had been so frustrated with the "lack of actual training" that my daughter got from Teen Safe Driving! Just like other typical driving schools, you pay a ton of money for someone to sit in a car (with a passenger side brake) and tell them where to drive and what they need to change, NEVER taking the time to tell them how to change it! I could have done that myself! My daughter finished the minimum requirements, got her permit signed off, and was no better when she started! John took the time to "unteach" bad habits and explain why they are bad, and then show her how to do it right. He also lets the parents ride along so we can learn how to better teach our kids as well. I HIGHLY recommend this school!! It may cost a little more but in the long run, you get what you pay for AND you get a safer driver!! read more

I went along for the ride during my daughter's first 2 hour driver's training with John and let's just say that I'm completely impressed. He encourages parents to come along so we can see what is being taught. He definitely helped to put my daughter's mind at ease before she started driving. Within 30 minutes, he had her headed up Friant Rd! He is a very calm instructor while teaching her the best way to approach the skill of driving. I'm so glad I decided to go with Elite. My daughter passed her driving test today and is a better driver than me!! Thanks to Mr. Cullington's unique teaching technique, our daughter has become an excellent driver. I went along on all the training rides, and learned so much. Sydney was VERY nervous, overreacted at every opportunity to make a decision, and would just stop whenever she got overwhelmed. Choosing a comprehensive driver's training school for our children is no easy task. I want more than a kid who can pass the test. I want a life long safe driver on our streets. If you're like me and want great training look no further. I worked with Teri in the office and she was great with scheduling and taking payment. My son's instructor was Kaitlyn. Such a thorough and sweet girl. She never missed a beat. I went on two ride alongs and was constantly impressed with her ability to keep pulse on the traffic on the road along with giving instructions to my son at the same time. I was exhausted just watching her. She took him through several situations and environments. My son is such a conscientious driver now. He treats the car and the road with appropriate respect. I am so thankful that we were referred to Elite Driver for driver training lessons. John is the very best instructor and I will use him again for my next child. His method is wonderful and the students learn more than just the "rules of the road". They also learn common sense driving and safety information. Another great lesson from Greg. He is a little cheaper than the other instructor. Anybody you go with here is great This is the 2nd time we have used Elite for my teenagers. I would rather pay more knowing they have been doing this for years and know what they are doing. Don't do the cheap driver training that only take a quick test to be an instructor. You want your teen to be taught the right way to drive. You can also make a payment at each driving lesson so you don't have to pay it all in full. read more

I'm very impressed with my sons driving instructor Caitlin. She explained everything she would be teaching our son and asked our concerns which put us at ease. She is patient spoke very evenly and calmly and was very encouraging to her student. She is an excellent instructor very knowledgeable and made my son feel confidant and comfortable. I had my grand daughter do drivers training and after each lesson she came in with enthusiasm and confidence in what she had learned. I noticed her progress driving with her after each session. I had heard great things from friends that had used Elite Driver Training Services for their kids training and I had read the reviews on Yelp so I hired them recently. Yesterday was my sons first lesson and I couldn't be more impressed. I went on the lesson and learned things I guess I should of known but didn't. My son excelled and we were out in heavy traffic making lane changes in no time. This first lesson covered so much and has my son and I ready to do some driving on our own.
