This Tanger is located Route 30 (East or West) on Lincoln Highway. This Tanger Outlets in Lancaster, PA is not a huge outlet mall, as noted accurately by fellow Yelper Dave L. There are high-end stores as Brooks Brothers, Movado, Kate Spade, Ann Taylor. Tanger is equipped with parking, and restroom facilities. Facilities are relatively clean. The store directory is obscured but my party walked to circle the grounds. There is also a printed store directory for grabs. Again, upon exiting the car the air had a high functioning stench of horse manure to heaven! The noisome odor emanating from the nearby unseen horse stables made it difficult for my party to enjoy the shopping experience, amid the dangerous excessive heat wave of Independence Day 2026 holiday weekend. We were among the Amish in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

There was a family who brought their dog in - I love dogs - I have a dog so I'm not anti dog but I do not appreciate people disobeying rules and bringing dogs in that are not service dogs. What was even more awful about this interaction was the family it was like 4 grown adults all crowded onto the bench I was using and put their dog on the bench behind me ! Like directly behind me. I don't know if their dog is reactive they don't know if I'm allergic- it was utterly rude and I would have appreciated the staff stepping in to say something. The people laughed and apologized but as I got up to walk around in my shoes my stuff clearly still on the bench, they completely took over the entire bench and I had to yank my stuff away. I didn't look at anything else in the store I immediately wanted to leave. The line was long we got there at store opening and there was a mad rush of people to get in. I did walk away with two pairs of shoes which was the goal. I was asked about my account I wasn't sure what my brothers info was for his and the employee didn't press for any more info , not telling me if there was any benefit to linking my account. He placed the receipt on top of the boxes in the bag which blew away when I walked out because the boxes were sticking out. Overall, not my favorite experience. Luckily I did walk away with two good pairs of shoes.

All the no-hood versions were 1/4 zip, but an associate was able to suggest alternatives and encouraged us to look around to see if anything catches our eye. We did find a windbreak type jacket in a Men's XXL with a full-zip and hood, but it was very thin so it met our needs for the soon approaching Springtime. If you wear larger than an XL in womens, go elsewhere because they don't stock bigger than that in the store.

The space itself was massive, so I spent an inordinate amount of time walking around the entire store, and then retracing my steps just to make sure i didn't miss anything. I ended up with a sweet beverage tub, a beverage dispenser, and a gold tray - perfect for summer cookouts and entertaining. It took a lot of willpower not to purchase whitewashed candle holders, placemats, a bathrobe, and a second tray. Even with discount prices, they still weren't dollar store cheap. Now I know to always keep an eye out for PB outlets - they're bound to offer some hidden gems to spruce up the home.

Since I started working back in March, I've been wearing my Merrell hiking boots and have had no issues with my feet. Unfortunately, I have to wear black shoes with my uniform and since I couldn't find any black hiking boots at the Merrell store, I decided to check out New Balance. I received great service while I was there. I've had plantar fasciitis (PF) in the past and because of that, I'm concerned switching shoes since I walk so many miles each week. The gentleman who helped me was extremely informative and gave me many options. Interestingly enough, he started out with their less expensive sneakers and even showed me some shoes on clearance that would work for me. It wasn't until I was more concerned about the PF that he told me about their 993 which are meant for people who have issues with PF. He told me they are more expensive ($129.99) which is why he doesn't normally suggest them right away. In the end, I found the 993s to be very comfortable but offers lots of support. He changed out the laces from grey to black for me and gave me a discount. When he found out that I have a military i.d., I received a better discount. I would definitely recommend going here if you're looking for New Balance sneakers. Wonderful service! A++!

I think they're cleaner, less crowded, and have more room in their isles. I also tend to find more of what I'm looking for at this location vs the other. What I have learned in my past few visits at both locations as this isn't a bad store, and certainly one to add to my thrift rotation when I'm shopping. Highlights for me are the rug/flooring : here you'll find bound rugs, unbound carpets, vinyl, outdoor plastic grass, area rugs both large and small, hardwood flooring etc. Much better selection and prices than other area retailers - even better than Walmart for smaller rug purchases. The quality is kinda all over the place - I found a beautiful high end 10 x 14' 100% wool rug for $300 for example, mixed with the run of the mill Walmart area rug variety. I also think their book dept is top notch, as well as toys (in season, more around Christmastime) and hardware if you need a gallon of paint and aren't fussy about color. Lacking is the food and beauty departments, pet care, linens, clothing, etc - more in the 2 star range. Help is almost non existent. The cleanliness could certainly be improved but this location is the cleaner of the two. When asking for a manager you might be told (like I was) to "look for the guy in the black shirt". Not the best customer service approach but when I found him and alerted him to minor damage on a $200 + product he was all to happy to offer a 25% discount w/out even looking at it!
