Where do you go if you are a curvy girl who loves fashion and looking good? Lanebryant of course!!…read moreI *heart* this place. It is also the reason I have no dough lol! I can't come here without a strict purpose and a pair of blinders, as my willpower deserts me as soon as I pull into the lot. Everything from office to casual to dressy to lingerie to accessories to handbags to shoes! On this haul I bought 2 'fitted in all the right places' military inspired shirts, a longer black pencil skirt with a zipper from waist to hem that moves both ways, (several of my guy friends liked the concept ;) a black v-neck sweater for a pair of skinny jeans, a pair of really hot black lacy tights and a gorgeous emerald green lacy cami. If I worked here it would just be for clothes, I wouldn't have anything left and I would starve and then I wouldn't be able to shop here anymore. I like to dress a little edgier (don't wanna look like an office clone or a soccer mom) but still love a classic clean and sexy look, I can pull that look off here. A must have are the new teeshirt bras, light, great support and fantastic fit. They make the twins look great! They have everything from adorable, to on fire, panties to thongs. Sleepware from cute n comfy to light it up hot. There are great belts, jewelry and handbags, socks and tights. The shoes are very on trend. They carry all sizes and widths. Another great thing about Lb is: if you need help putting an outfit together, just ask and a stylist will help you, they also do bra fittings. I was wearing the wrong size for so long until I got fitted here. Now the twins get the attention they deserve ;) Yet another perk, if you use your Lb card, you get points toward coupons and periodically they send you a check that you can use in conjunction with a coupon for added savings. And last but not least: you can host a Girls' Night Out where you invite your friends, family to a private party at the store. A hostess party must consist of a minimum of 4 guests. As a hostess you'll receive: $50 Lb gift card, 30% off for you n guests on all purchases made at the event, except Spanx products, and personalized service by Lb stylists! The next event is Nov 14 2010 from 6-9. Fun, fun! Call Jamie to set it up. I really believe that a girl can be curvy and sexy, and Lanebryant is the place to get your fashionista on! Love it, love it, love it... *sigh*

Sweetie needed some bras, and we ran into a friend so we hung out and shopped. There was a sale, and the selection seems pretty good, size- and style-wise. Maybe I shouldn't review this since I didn't buy anything. But wait, I did: for some reason the clerk took my credit card but handed the bag to Sweetie. How did they know that's how it works?

I had a good handful of clothing I was going to try on but at 7:25 the dressing rooms were closed. When I asked the employees, they said that they close the dressing rooms 30 min before close. This was not posted nor was it said to me when I walked in the store or while I was looking at and holding clothing. If this is the common practice then it should be made known to shoppers. I handed the employee my clothing (about 10-15 pieces and planned on buying at least 3 things) and left the store.

I've gone down several sizes over the past year, so my plus-size jacket is quite roomy. I needed to get a new winter jacket, so I wanted to check out NF's outlet store to see what's what. The store is nicely laid out. Clothes up front, jackets in the back. I did find a jacket I liked, but there was no other in a medium/large. I settled on my second pick, and that was that. Prices where 50% off jackets, and my particular one, since it said it was a "new style" got an extra 10% off additional. Happy face. Employees weren't exactly knowledgeable about the different attributes that set apart each from the next, but they were young and polite in helping getting down high up jackets to try on, and then again in the check-out process.

Although I find the Hollister in Easton to be the best of the Abercrombie & Fitch spinoff stores in…read morethe Columbus area, I perceive the store in Polaris to be pretty decent. A few years ago, it used to have the irritating perfume scent, but it doesn't anymore. Since the Aerostale store in Polaris has a first rate look, this store as well as the other Hollister stores in the world could have a makeover. But featuring vociferous music and dimmed lighting still make it a cutting edge place in any mall. Despite purchasing the majority of Hollister items at the Easton location, I bought my first Hollister item at the Polaris location. It was a nice looking polo shirt featuring blue and white stripes. It's unfortunate it's no longer in stock. But recently, I've purchased a big quantity of items at this store recently such as polo shirts with vivid colors and a fleece featuring a top notch design of the Hollister name. The current models at this location are affable, enthusiastic, and make a valiant effort to assist customers. When I used a fitting room, a model was civil enough to hold the sweater I was going to try on as she unlocked the door. One of the managers, Kristen, is also affable. I was having a conversation with her and stepped on her flip-flop. I apologized for this, but she was unfazed and enthusiastically said "That's okay!". Kristen is bubbly, which is a engaging trait for a manager who perhaps encourages work to be fun for the models and fun to shop for customers. Again, this Hollister store could upgrade it's look like the Aerostale store in Polaris, but it's still a pretty good place to visit and purchase the hip looking items.
